XIME Bangalore holds conference on 'Revisiting MBA in Asia Pacific context'

Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME) Bangalore organized an international conference on January 30-31on the theme of ‘Revisiting the MBA in the Asia Pacific Context’. Eminent speakers from eleven countries addressed the forum. 

Prof. Shekhar Chaudhuri, Founder Director, School of Management & Entrepreneurship, Shiv Nadar University and Former Director, IIM Calcutta was the chief guest. Keynote address was delivered by Dr. M J Xavier, Executive Director, VIT University and Former Director, IIM Ranchi.

On the occasion, felicitations were given by Dr. Kirill Flegonov, State University of Management, Moscow, Dr. V G Dhanakumar, Director, Indian Institute of Plantation Management and Dr. N Ravichandran, Professor, IIM Ahmedabad and Former Director, IIM Indore. 

A book titled ‘Human Resource Practices and Labour Laws: An International Perspective’ was released during the conference by Mr. Arun Balakrishnan, Former Chairman, Hindustan Petroleum.

Country papers on Australia, Bangladesh, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea, Thailand, USA and Vietnam, were presented by Prof. Evan J. The program was organized in collaboration with the Association of BRICS Business Schools (ABBS) & the Karnataka Association of Autonomous Business Schools (KAABS). The occasion also marked the fifth anniversary of the founding of Association of BRICS Business Schools (ABBS).
