Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad organized a Conference based on the topic “Ethics and Values in Indian Society” on Feb 15, 2014 at its Indirapuram campus.
The Conference served as a common platform for academicians, practitioners, industrialist and management students where they could interact and share their views and experiences on the importance of Values and Ethics in Indian Society.
It was focused on five fields which included Judicial Services, Civil Services; Banking and Financial Services, Business in India, and Indian Media.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over Dr. Rajaram Jaipuria, Chairman and Managing Director, Ginni Filaments, Noida; Dr M. Ashraf Rizvi ,Director, Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies, Indirapuram and Mr. R M Malla, MD & CEO of PTC India Financial Services.
The plenary sessions included dignitaries like, Justice V Gopala Gowda, sitting judge of Supreme Court; P K Lahiri, Chairman, General Council and Executive Board of ISM, Dhanbad and others.
There was an interactive and enriching panel discussion among seasoned distinguished personalities including Vinod Malhotra, Civil Servant and Author; Dr Prakash Mathure, Professor and Dean Executive Education of Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies and Manoj Raghuvanshi, reputed television journalist.
The Panel Discussion was followed by an open forum for Sharing Innovative Ethical Practices in which delegates and interested participants took part.
Established in 2008 by Dr. Rajaram Jaipuria; Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad is an autonomous institute approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The institute is running Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), a two year full time programme approved by AICTE and a number of open as well as customized executive education courses.
