Q.1. Where shall we get the result from? Will the hard copy of result be sent to the aspirant’s address?

Q. 2. Will CMAT results provide score in raw form or in percentile form?
Ans. CMAT has 100 questions with a maximum score of 400. The result will provide number of marks scored out of the maximum marks. There will not be percentile based scores. If in case some of the institutes or state universities accepting CMAT Feb 2014 scores need to convert and match the same with other percentile based scores, they have their own methodology. There will not be sectional cut off based scores in CMAT Feb 2014 results
Q. 3. Which institutes and Universities will accept CMAT Feb 2014 scores for admission year 2014?
Ans. According to AICTE thirteen state universities of Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and other private B schools approved by AICTE will accept the CMAT 2014 result scores. The notification dated 03-12.2013 of Himachal Pradesh Technical University clarifies that admission to MBA in all the Government and private affiliating institutions to Himachal Pradesh technical University will be made on the basis of CMAT scores in 2014-15. Q.4. How many B schools offering PGDM programmes will accept CMAT Feb 2014 scores across the country?
Ans. According to AICTE there are 400+ B schools offering MBA/PGDM programmes. Out of them 300+ would offer PGDM and will accept CMAT Feb 2014 scores. Q. 5. What will be the criteria in different states to get admission in MBA/PGDM programmes?
Ans. AICTE will provide the detailed merit list to the respective State Governments for allotting the students through their central counselling process or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure.
Q. 6. Which are the good B schools and how much should one score in CMAT Feb 2014 to get admission in them?
Ans. Number of good B schools exists as per the AICTE list which accepts CMAT scores across the country. A few among them are JBIMS; SIMSREE; K J Somaiya Institute of Management and Research; Chetana's Institute of Management and Research (CIMR); IES Management College and Research Centre; SIES College of Management Studies; PUMBA Department Of Management Sciences, Pune; Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management, Pune; Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) Specialized PGDM Programs; Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida; IILM Institute of Business and Management, Gurgaon; Asia Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi; NDIM; Apeejay; Accurate; VIT vellore; MS Ramaiah institute of management; Acharya school of Management, Bangalore.
Admission in management programmes in the institutes like JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA can be explored with a score of 290+ while other B schools will have their varying cut off in a range of 100 to 280. JBIMS allowed admission in 2013 with a CMAT score of 315. Only those candidates who have registered themselves for MAHCET 2014 will be considered for admission to various University affiliated and AICTE approved B schools across Maharashtra, even if they score high in CMAT

Q.7. Is CMAT the only exam for admission to MBA/PGDM?
Ans. CMAT is one of the six prominent All India entrance tests for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes apart from CAT/XAT/GMAT/ATMA/MAT. More than 1 lakh candidates registered for CMAT Feb 2014 making it the second largest sought after exam after CAT where registration was done by more than 1.90 lakh aspirants.

Ans. No, according to AICTE the CMAT Feb 2014 score will be valid for the admission to the academic year 2014-15.
