Know well that MAH CET is easier than any other MBA entrance examination. More options will be available to you as seats through CET are more than any other exam. Besides, the preparation for CET is`t too demanding after having appeared in other entrance exams. All you need is good speed and an active mind to ensure accuracy.

There are number of candidates who got admission to JBIMS, SIMSREE and other excellent B schools having a ranking among top 10 or top 20 on the basis of MAHCET-2012 (There was no MAHCET in 2013 due to some legal issues). 4. Reading comprehension passages in MAHCET 2014
There can be 30 to 36 questions based on RC passages. If the RC passages are less many questions (12-14) may follow each passage; if the number is more 8-10 questions could follow the passage. Passages are approximately of a length of 500 words not very tough but questions could be on statements and their inferences, meaning of phrases and words as used in the passages.

Quantitative Aptitude
There can be 48-50 questions on quantitative aptitude and data interpretation in MAH CCET 2014. Questions are although not difficult may turn out to be a little time consuming. Key expected topics on which quant questions could be based are Geometry - Lines, circles, triangles, quadrilaterals, Mensuration (area and volume of cylinder, cone, sphere);Algebra- simple equations, inequalities, simple functions and log; Arithmetic- Average, Percentages, Ratio, Interest, Time- Speed & Distance and Work,  problems on basic Number System and Probability. Reasoning
Logical and Abstract Reasoning in MAHCET will have more than 70 questions. Important topics to which questions are related in Reasoning section are Caselet, Analogies, Coding Decoding, Series Completion, Data Sufficiency, Inference based questions, statement- assumption or conclusion. Questions are designed to test your quick and accurate thought process.
