- Presence of corporate houses, industries.

This is equally important. If you want to specialize in marketing or finance or HR, etc. you must check the list of recruiters visiting the campus during last few placements seasons. If you are aiming for a select few companies to work in future, then make sure that those companies are a part of the placement season of your B-school. Also, some locations are better at recruiting for certain industries.

Q. Diversity of students

Q. How rigorous are the classes and the overall administration
Some of you might claim themselves to be free bird, not to be put behind the confinements of regular lectures or extra classes. If you are among them, then alas either you change yourself or avoid choosing a strictly disciplined B-school, where 75% attendance means 75% and not 72 plus sick leave.
Some MBA colleges boast of higher work load than others, rigorous academic schedules, case studies and series of presentation. While all these are fine but you should also get time to socialize, to participate in clubs, search for internships/jobs. There is more to MBA than just academics.
Although you will need discipline during MBA to succeed in life, but hey, who are we to force you! It’s you, who has to decide on your B-school and the type of lifestyle you dream of, hence choose wisely.
Q. Are you willing to stretch yourself?
If you start selecting B-schools based on all your wishes and desires then chances are you will end up with getting none. Hence, there’s a term called Adaptability. You got to adapt with the surrounding and conditions. Just because a B-school doesn't feel like a perfect fit doesn't mean that it's not the right school.
When you stretch while exercising, it often feels uncomfortable but you know that it’s for your own good. You must evaluate your B-school on this stretch test.
