The 5th (IMC), India's biggest MBA education conference, will be held in New Delhi on August 8 & 9. Dr Bakul Dholakia, Former Director, IIM Ahmedabad, will chair IMC Awards Jury, which will select the best B-school initiatives of 2013-14.
After making a very successful debut in 2013, IMC Awards are back! The 2014 edition of IMC Awards will be held in conjunction with IMC Conference on August 8-9 in New Delhi. The Awards will be judged by India’s most respected management educators including Dr Bakul Dholakia, Former Director of IIM Ahmedabad, who will be chairing the IMC Awards 2014 Jury. So get ready to showcase your best initiatives of 2013-14 at IMC 2014. The nomination process will be open soon and close on June 7.

IMC Awards 2013 received an overwhelming response with 50+ well known B-schools sending their nominations. Union HRD Minister Dr Shashi Tharoor presented IMC Awards 2013 to 10 worthy winners at a glittering ceremony on August 3, 2013 in New Delhi. The winning initiatives were documented in IMC Awards Compendium, which was shared with 1000 Institutions and educators in India.

The IMC Awards 2014 promise to be bigger and better, with greater participation from 100+ B-schools & Universities.


Dr Bakul Dholakia, well known management academician and Former Director, IIM Ahmedabad is the Chairman of IMC Awards 2014 Jury. Much respected for his bold stance on the ‘Autonomy of Higher Education Institutions’, Padma Shri awardee Dr. Bakul Dholakia has been a major motivator and guiding force behind the expansion of activities at IIMA. Dr Bakul Dholakia is currently the Director of Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management, Ahmedabad and Advisor to Adani Group. He has been a Consultant to the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank besides advising various National and International organizations. He has authored numerous books in Business Economics, Corporate Strategy, and Development Economics etc.


Awards Themes

There are three contemporary themes for inviting nominations for IMC Awards 2014.

Theme 2: Rethinking What to teach and How: Innovations in Curriculum & Pedagogy
Theme 3: Deepening Industry-Institute engagement: New models for greater connect

IMC Conference 2014
The 5th edition of Indian Management Conclave (IMC), to be held in New Delhi on August 8-9, 2014, will bring the best minds from India and abroad to discuss the conference theme – ‘Envisioning the Future’. Recognized as India’s biggest & the best MBA education conference, IMC 2014 will draw on the rich experience of global thought-leaders in MBA education to shed light on possible future directions of Indian MBA education.


The keynote address will be delivered by Management Guru Dr Howard Thomas, Dean, Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University, Singapore.


Dr Howard Thomas is a globally recognized thought-leader on the burning topic of Sustainability & Future of Management Education. His two recent books ‘The Business School in the 21st Century’ and ‘Promises Fulfilled and Unfulfilled in Management Education’ offer a fresh perspective on Sustainability of Management Education. He is a highly-cited scholar, who is a Fellow of the Academy of Management, USA, the British Academy of Management, the Strategic Management Society and the Academy of Social Sciences. Dr Thomas is a past Chair of the Board of the Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC), The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). the Association of Business Schools (ABS) and the Global Foundation of Management Education (GFME).


IMC 2014 will host many other distinguished international speakers from US, Canada, China and Singapore.
