The decisive factors like Fee, intake and above all the latest placement performance of the B schools would guide the students

The announcement of results by all the 6 new IIMs during this week has further put the prospective candidates in a dilemma where they have to be decisively sure whether they wish to choose one among these six or one among the top 10 other MBA/PGDMs where admission process is almost complete and last date to deposit the fee is approaching fast. Barely a few days are left to finalise the decision else you may lose the opportunity of admission in IIMs as well as in other top rated B schools.

Admission results: IIMs Vs other top B schools

While IIM Raipur, Rohtak, Trichy and Udaipur announced their final admission results between May 11 to May 12, 2014, IIM Kashipur and IIM  Ranchi announced them on May 14, 2014. All these 6 IIMs have taken full 4 months to declare final admission results after declaration of CAT 2013 scores on January 14, 2014.

On the contrary, top rated  B schools offering MBA/PGDM programmes like XLRI, SPJIMR, MDI, IMT, IMI, NMIMS, TAPMI, IIFT,  XIMB, NITIE,  have already finalized their admission process. The deadline to deposit the commitment or first instalment of fee is only a few days away.

How long it will take to accommodate the waitlisted candidates is yet another grave issue with all the B schools.  The MBA/PGDM session 2014-15 at all the top B schools is proposed to begin sometime in last week of June or first week of July 2014.
