As announced earlier, CAT 2014 exam registration has begun from today on the official CAT 2014 website. CAT 2014 registration will end on September 30, 2014.
For all those who are eager to register for CAT 2014 exam must know beforehand the steps to follow for a successful CAT 2014 exam Registration. This article will tell you step-by-step procedure to register for CAT 2014 exam.
Step 1:
CAT 2014 aspirants are required to visit CAT 2014 exam official website to start their Registration process. On the home page, you will find an icon ‘Register Now’. Click on it to begin your CAT 2014 registration process.
Step 2:
The next page will be your Registration Form. You need to fill this form to get your User Id and Password.
Before you proceed, please remember the following things:
a. Candidate has to fill in the below mentioned details to receive the User Id and Password.
b. Candidate will receive the User Id in the registered email address and Password as SMS on the registered mobile number.
c. Candidate can login with the User Id and Password to complete the application for CAT 2014.
d. Candidate must provide correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address as these details cannot be changed once the registration is complete.
e. Candidate name should be entered as per 12th/Diploma/Degree Certificate.

Click SUBMIT to complete your registration for User ID and Password.
Step 3:
After submitting your CAT 2013 Registration Form, you will be taken to next page which will confirm your details. You will receive the User Id in your registered email address and Password as SMS on the registered mobile number.
Please wait for around 4-5 minutes to get your User ID and Password. Don’t Panic.
Step 4:
You will receive the Following mail from IIM & TCS, See below image:
Now that you have received both your User ID and Password, you can now go ahead and login in to your CAT 2014 account to complete your Application Form.
Along with your User ID, you will also get your ‘Login Link’ in your email address in the same mail. Click on the link to login and submit application for CAT 2014 using the User ID and Password received.

Step 5:
After clicking the link, you will reach on ‘Candidate Login’ page. Put in your User ID (Received in mail) and you Password (Received on mobile no.) and click LOGIN to proceed further.

After login, you will be taken to complete your CAT 2014 Application Form.
Take your time to read all the instructions carefully, get all your certificates and documents handy to refer to in case. You can do multiple logins to complete your application.
You will need to fill 5 different section of your CAT 2014 Application form:
1. Personal Details: Consists of Name, address, category and you also need to upload your scanned copy of passport size photograph and signature.
2.Academics: This consists of SSC/10th Std/Equivalent Details, 12th/Equivalent/Diploma Course Details, Bachelor Degree Details, Master Degree Details.
3. Work Experience: You need to put in your work experience details like Working Areas, Work Experience (In months). Remember to enter your work experience till 31st July 2014.
4. Programmes: You can select any number of programmes. For each programme selected, you will have to select an interview city as well. You will also have the option to Apply to the Proposed New Six IIMs.
Exam Centre City Preferences- You can select any three preferred cities for the CAT 2014 examination. However, city allocation will be subject to availability.
5. Payment Procedure: This page will provide you details regarding all the additional charges you will pay along with your CAT 2014 registration Fee. Choose the Payment method, fill in your correct name, amount, Captcha, click I agree button and Submit & Pay for your CAT 2014 exam. Once the payment is made, you will not be allowed to make any changes.
