Sharing the process of admission 2015-16 at XIMB, XUB, Prof Arun K Paul, Admission coordinator said ‘XIMB, XUB will conduct X-GMAT admission test for those who do not appear in CAT/XAT/GMAT’. According to Prof Arun ‘ there will be only written test and personal interview while the process of Group Discussion(GD) has been eliminated from final admission round’

How to Apply
Application process for admission 2015-16 at XIMB, XUB is an on-line one. Candidates have to complete the process in 4 steps as follows-
Step-1: Fill up the personal details/Academic detsails/professional details and upload the photo & signature to create and receive by email a unique XUB ID and password for applying to XIMB, XUB.
Step-2: Login with XUB ID and password. Choose the programme you want to apply for and fill up the final part (Programme details) of the application form and submit.
Step 3: Pay the application fee as instructed in the Payment Advice Form. (Application fee is Rs.1300/- for first option, Rs.700/- for the second, and Rs.500/- each for every additional program or test option.)
Step 4: Send the Payment Advice Form and proof of payment to: The Admissions Office, Xavier Institute of Management, Xavier Square, Bhubaneswar-751013.
If you have filled the application form and paid the application fee successfully, you will receive the confirmation by email regarding the acceptance of your online application form. Subsequently, the information Bulletin-2015 will be mailed to you to the present address given in the online form.

Exam Scores accepted for admission at XIMB, XUB
Applicants are required to take any one of the Admission Tests:
XAT 2015: To be conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, on 4 January, 2015,
CAT 2014: To be conducted by IIMs on 16 & 22 November 2014,
GMAT: Taken in 2013 or 2014 (minimum score for applying 550),
X-GMAT: To be conducted at Bhubaneswar during January 2015, by Xavier University.
Registering for XAT/CAT/GMAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB, XUB, if not opting for X-GMAT.
Selection Procedure
XIMB, XUB will decide the section-wise as well as total cut-off marks which will be used for short-listing the candidates to be called for Written Ability Test, and Personal Interview.
WAT, & PI will be held in Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.
Candidates will have to meet their own travel expenses for appearing in the Interview session. The final selection will be made on the basis of the candidate's performance in the XAT/CAT/GMAT/X-GMAT as well as in the Written Ability Test, and Personal Interview (which factors in the past academic record and relevant work experience). The selected candidates will be informed by mail in the month of April 2015.
Eligibility
The minimum requirement for admission to the Programme is a three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates who expect to complete the final part of their degree examinations by June 15, 2015, can also apply. Offers of admission to such candidates, if made, will be provisional and will be automatically cancelled in the event of their failing to complete all the requirements for obtaining the degree before June 15.
Beginning of session 2015-16
The programme will begin by the middle of June 2015 for the first year students. At this time the students will be given a Manual of Policies and Regulations.
