The Institute of Management, previously known as Nirma Institute of Management, a constituent of the distinguished Nirma University is going to start its admission 2015-16 process on October 10, 2014. The B school will accept only CAT 2014 scores. Last date to apply for MBA admission 2015-16 at Institute of Management Nirma University (IMNU) is December 15, 2014.
Sharing the information exclusively with MBAUniverse.com, Prof G Ramchandran Nair, Dy Registrar, Nirma University, Ahmedabad has clarified “The online application begins on 10th October and the last date will be 15th December 2014. The admission selection process remains same of last year.”
Admission Application process at IMNU
Applicants are required to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT 2014) conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM). The CAT examination will be conducted at different centres all over the country on November 16 & 22, 2014. IMNU will receive the test scores from IIM for those candidates who have appeared in the CAT examination and have also applied to IMNU. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.

Online Application Form
Online application form can be downloaded from Nirma University website when the application process starts on October 10, 2014. Applicants should fill in the on line application form and submit it along with an online payment of Rs.1500/- by credit card / debit card / net banking.
Offline Application Form
The candidates can download the application form from Nirma University website and submit the completed application form along with a DD of Rs. 1500/- drawn in favour of “Institute of Management, Nirma University” and payable at Ahmedabad. Application forms can also be directly obtained from the Institute on payment of Rs. 1500/.

Institute of management Nirma University has following management programmes to offer, after bachelor’s degree
Master of Business Administration (MBA) Full time
This is the flagship MBA programme at IMNU. The programme offers specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Operations management and Information technology.
MBA (Family Business and Entrepreneurship)
This is also a 2 year full time residential programme in management education offered at IMNU. The programme aims to equip the future managers with modern management knowledge and skills, family business management techniques and an entrepreneurship approach.

Total number of seats available for admission 2015-17 batch at IMNU are 240.
Eligibility
A three-year bachelor's degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates appearing in the final year of the Bachelors Degree and completing all requirements for obtaining the degree by June 25th, 2015 can also apply provided they furnish the proof of having met with the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2015. The candidates failed to meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be asked to withdraw from the programme.
