IIMs have allowed one more day to complete the CAT 2014 registration/application process. Sharing exclusively with MBAUniverse.com Dr Rohit Kapoor, Faculty IIM Indore and CAT 2014 Convener has informed ‘We are allowing the candidates one more day on 10th October, 2014 to complete the registration/application process. The window will be opened from 00:00 hours to 23:59 hours.’

As regards the instructions and guidelines to proceed for the CAT 2014 registration on October 10, 2014 Dr Kapoor has also informed that “The guidelines for the same will be uploaded on our CAT website www.iimcat.ac.in on Sunday 5th October 2014.” All those CAT 2014 who couldn’t complete their registration process till September 30, 2014 due to one or other reason have got another opportunity to complete the registration process for CAT 2014 on October 10, 2014.
Reasons to reopen CAT 2014 registration
Revealing about the sudden development and compelling reasons for reopening the CAT 2014 registration process on October 10, 2014 for one day Dr Rohit Kapoor attributed the reasons to various technical glitches due to which CAT 2014 aspirants could not complete their registration/application "We have been given to understand that few candidates faced difficulties during the last day of submission of CAT 2014 application, i.e., on 30th September 2014 owing to failures in internet connection, net banking transactions etc.”
Earlier it was specifically advised by the CAT 2014 Convener that there was no proposal to extend the CAT 2014 registration date and time.

Sharing this Dr Rohit Kapoor clarifies ‘Based on the emails received from the affected candidates, we are opening the window for one day to apply and complete the registration and/or application’
