In a few hours from now, get ready for the day you have been waiting for past one week. Yes, the registration process for CAT 2014 opens at 00 hrs of October 10, 2014, immediately after midnight on October 9, 2014.
If you are a working professional, comes home late and goes to sleep late, want to appear in CAT 2014 but not yet applied, the time is ripe for you. In fact, it’s the last and the only opportunity to register for CAT 2014 before going to sleep.
CAT 2014 registration that opened on Aug 6, 2014 got closed on September 30, 2014. However CAT 2014 conducting IIM Indore has decided to provide the once for all opportunity to all those who wish to appear in CAT 2014 by opening the registration window for one day right from 00 hrs to 23.59 hrs on October 10, 2014.
The big difference in then and now
The difference in the process is that on Aug 6 the registration site opened at 10 AM and 56 days from that day were available to complete the process of registration and application. The situation is just opposite now. The CAT 2014 registration opens just after midnight, a few hours from now. In case you are able to register and apply in the wee hours of October 10, 2014 you may remain successful as the site may not be giving any problem till then.
But if you choose to miss the bus and opt for second half of the day to complete the registration process, it is quite possible that technical glitches and inaccessible site might begin giving problems. On the top of it, once you lose the opportunity, it may not strike again before CAT 2015 registration opens.
Thousands in the queue
Since thousands of CAT 2014 aspirants would be waiting to register and apply for CAT 2014 it will be better to register first immediately after the clock strikes 12 midnight on October 9, 2014 and then go to bed in an absolutely relaxed mood.
There is not going to be any other opportunity after October 10, 2014.
Make payment online
Keep your payment instruments ready whether it is internet banking id password, Debit/Credit card. It will facilitate you to make instant payment instead of waiting for some outside help.
There is still time of few hours, update the details and register immediately after midnight for CAT 2014. Please do not submit and make payment till you have entered all the requisite details correctly. It will not be possible to edit and amend once you pay and submit the application.
