XISS Campus: Reopened
Covid-19 disruptions were bravely countered by XISS Ranchi by turning on digital platforms. XISS Ranchi Placements 2020 and 2021
Placements at XISS have remained high during past many years across all the PGDM programmes. The placement process at XISS Ranchi takes place in two phases. The phase-1 remains open from October last week to December first week and phase-2 starts in January first week and remains open till March 31.

In placement 2020 XISS recorded average salary of Rs.5.85 LPA. In all, XISS had about 122 companies which participated in the campus recruitment process for the year 2020 and out of the 122 recruiters, 35 were new. A total of 264 offers were made with highest CTC of Rs 26.49 lacs per annum and the average CTC was Rs. 5.85 lacs per annum. The average salary for the HR program touched a record Rs 8.61 lpa. The programs of Finance management, Rural management, Marketing and Information Technology has achieved a placement of 96.43%, 94.52%, 89.09% and 83.33% respectively.

The recruiters represented well diversified sectors such as consultancy, automobile, power, steel, edu-tech, BFSI, IT, retail, telecom, pharma and social/non-profit organizations. Students received 11 PPOs. XISS Placement 2021
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and the sharp downturn in the economy, the placements in the current year are going strong for XISS. The process is still ongoing and will continue till the month of May 2021. By the first week of April, it has already crossed the 70% mark for the program of PGDM-HRM and about 55-60% for other programs. A good number of companies are still lined up for the forthcoming months.

Most of the companies, this year have conducted online placements and the placement cell has handled the interviews remotely. The pace with which placements have progressed is already a testimony of competence and tenacity exhibited by XISS students during the placement season. The highest CTC for the season, so far, is Rs. 13.50 LPA and as many as 5 PPOs to boast post the lock-down period. 

How to Apply for XISS Admission?
The candidates will have to apply separately at XISS, Ranchi apart from appearing in one or more of the All India management tests like CAT 2020, XAT 2021 or CMAT 2021. The institute will accept only online registrations. The admission process followed by the Institute is as per the guidelines of AICTE. The application process is open now. Application Fee and Payment Mode
The registration and application fee varies according to number of specializations applied for. If you are applying for one specialization you need to pay Rs.1570/- and if you apply for two specializations you should pay Rs.1870/-.

For online registrations, the registration fee can be paid through online transactions using Credit / Debit/ATM cards/Online Banking, and the Application form fee is non-refundable.

Service Charges and Taxes are extra as applicable on making online payments.

XISS Admission: Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum qualification for admission to the PGDM program at the Institute is three / four years bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST) in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities
• Candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their graduate degree examination in academic year 2021-21 are also eligible to appear for the admission process. Such candidates if finally selected at XISS, Ranchi must clear their Graduation examination with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST) by August 2021

A candidate desirous of seeking admission in the Institute must appear in one of the following all India level management admission tests

• CAT 2020: Conducted on Nov 29, 2020 by IIMs
• XAT 2021: Conducted on January 3, 2021 by XLRI Jamshedpur

Final Selection at XISS, Ranchi
