Keeping up the traditional word of commitment CAT Centre 2014 has enabled the Practice test on site today at 1 PM on October 28, 2014. Practice test will continue to be available for the CAT 2014 aspirants till the CAT exam 2014 is over. With number of changes in the CAT 2014 exam pattern, the test is supposed to be a good and authenticated guide with sample questions right from the horse’s mouth. CAT 2014 aspirants can now very well familiarize themselves by practicing the sample questions as many times as they like.
CAT 2014 with 100 questions
There will be 100 questions of the types as provided in the sample practice test on CAT 2014 site. The questions will be divided in 2 sections with 50 questions each. Total allotted time to complete the test will be 170 minutes. Candidates can freely switch from one section to other during the overall time limit.
Know the 2 sections well
The test will be divided in 2 sections. First section will consist of 50 questions on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and the second section will comprise 50 questions on Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. The second section will have a few questions on Critical reasoning as well. While Quant and Verbal will have major share in their respective section, questions on DI and LR will be the percentile booster.
Wait is over
CAT Centre 2014 earlier promised “A CAT practice exam will be available on the website www.iimcat.ac.in for candidates to get familiarized with the functionality and navigation of the actual exam. This link will be made available in mid-October 2014.” However with the reopening of registration process on October 10, 2014 things got a bit delayed and CAT Centre 2014 again announced “Facility to experience the CAT 2014 computer based examination will be available on the CAT website from 28th Oct 1.00 P.M onwards. Kindly note this is a mock online exam for demonstration purpose only.”
CAT 2014 aspirants have anxiously been waiting for the practice exam right from the beginning. This is the first time that the practice test has not been made available with the opening of CAT registration process.
