IIFT 2014: Admit cards despatched, can also download; Nov 10 the last day to change the test centre

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has issued and dispatched the Admit Cards for its MBA (IB) entrance exam 2014 by post
Candidates who do not receive the Admit Cards till Nov 12, 2014 can download it from IIFT website.

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has issued and dispatched the Admit Cards for its MBA (IB) entrance exam 2014 by post to all the eligible students who have applied for the test. The candidates who submitted the online or offline application forms complete in all respects must have received the Admit cards by now. Candidates who do not receive the Admit Cards till Nov 12, 2014 can download it from IIFT website.  

IIFT 2014 entrance test for the MBA(IB) batch 2015-17 will held on November 23, 2014 at 20 test centres across India namely, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubeneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hydrabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam. The conventional paper pencil mode test will be of two hours duration from 10.00 A.M. to 12.00 Noon. The MBA(IB) programme is available at IIFT New Delhi and Kolkata campuses in India and at Dar-es-Salaam campus in Tanzania.

 Nov 12 onwards: Facility to download the Admit card

If you do not receive the Admit Cards by November 12, 2014, you can download it from IIFT’s website. IIFT has informed “With a print out of the Admit card, the candidates should reach the venue of the Exam Centre on November 23, 2014 latest by 9.00 a.m. with one of the following documents to appear in the exam Passport/Election I-Card/College I-Card/Driving License/PAN Card for appearing in the exam.”
  
Nov 10: The last day to change the test centre

IIFT has allowed the aspirants going to appear in entrance exam on Nov 23, 2014 to apply

for change in the exam centre till November 10, 2014. In case you wish to apply for the same you are required to send a written request duly signed by the applicant (student) with a DD of Rs.500/- in favour of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, payable at New Delhi latest by November 10, 2014.

 IIFT 2014: 4 sections with varying marking pattern

The written admission test 2014 to MBA Programme 2015-17 in IIFT will consist of multiple choice objective type questions (in English) divided in 4 sections. It comprises the questions covering English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis. The candidate may attempt any question from any section during the time allotted to attempt the test in the examination. 

IIFT entrance test will have no pre declared fixed number of questions either over all or section wise. Number of questions goes on varying every year in different sections as well as overall. The total number of questions in IIFT entrance test may go anywhere from 115 to 130.

Questions in different sections and sub sections in IIFT entrance exam carry different marking pattern. While overall maximum marks are 100, the maximum marks allotted to different questions vary from 0.5 to 1. Sectional cut offs also play an important role and a candidate has to clear them as well.  Penalty of one third marks will be awarded for every wrong answer in IIFT 2014 entrance exam for academic session 2015-16.
