While IIM Ahmedabad has retained the top position, IIM Calcutta and IIM Bangalore are ranked at No. 2 and No. 3 slot. B school ranking by MBAUniverse.com is widely recognized and regarded as India’s most comprehensive & ‘toughest’ MBA ranking, with participation from virtually all IIMs, XLRI, FMS, JBIMS and from almost all the top 100 B-schools. Top 10 B schools in Ranking 2015

 

IIM A retained its 1st rank followed by IIM C at 2 and IIM B at 3. Among the private B schools XLRI led the position at 4th position followed by SPJIMR at 5th position.  IIM Lucknow slipped to 6th position. New IIMs Ranked

 

Newer IIMs also actively participated in the MBAUniverse.com B school Ranking Survey 2015 and found their place among top 30 B schools of India. IIM Trichy moved up to the 18th rank, IIM Ranchi has occupied the 25th position and IIM Udaipur, the 2015 CAP conducting IIM, has been placed at 30th rank.

In a rare show of pursuit for excellence, PGDM B schools have moved upwards. While XLRI has been the torch bearer of excellence occupying the 4th position, SPJIMR, MDI, IMI, IMT, TAPMI, BIMTECH and many others have worked harder on various parameters to climb the ladder of hierarchy.

Dr Bakul Dholakia, former Director of IIM Ahmedabad had voluntarily decided to step down from the MBAUniverse.com Ranking Advisory body to avoid potential conflict of interest. Dr Dholakia was the chair-person of MBAUniverse.com Ranking Advisory body for last four years. He recently joined IMI New Delhi as its Director General. In his guidance, MBAUniverse.com Ranking established itself as one of India's most respected B-school Ranking.
