Registration and application process for XAT 2015 which was extended upto Dec 8, 2014 will finally close today at End of the Day. It is but obvious that XLRI, the XAT 2015 B school is not going to extend it further. The registration process for XAT 2015 was supposed to close on Nov 30, 2014 but on appeal of thousands of XAT aspirants who couldn’t register and make payment of the registration/application fee XLRI extended the last date of registration till Dec 8, 2014.
Replying to MBAUniverse.com concern for the XAT 2015 aspirants who couldn’t apply for XAT 2015 till Nov 30, 2014 Prof Munish Thakur considering the facts replied “We might extend it to 8th of December as there are quite a few people yet to pay (among registered).” This positive response to extend the last date of registration from November 30 to December 8, 2014 gave a sigh of relief to the XAT 2015 aspirants as they were given the opportunity to register and pay to appear in XAT 2015 for another 8 days.
No further extension anticipated
We have again been receiving numerous queries from the prospective XAT 2015 takers if there is any possibility of further extension in the last date of registration.
MBAUniverse,com would like to share with the XAT 2015 aspirants that no further extension in last date to apply for XAT 2015 is anticipated and the candidates should apply immediately without waiting any further.
The consideration to extend the last date of registration for XAT 2015 from Nov 30 to Dec 8, 2014 had number of positives and thousands got the benefit out of this extension in registration date.
Registered but couldn’t make the Payment
On Nov 29, 2014, the XAT 2015 conducting centre flashed the message on the mobile phones of all such candidates who had registered for XAT 2015 but didn’t make the payment “ your registration for XAT-2015 remained incomplete till date. Kindly make payment and complete remaining steps by 8/12/2014 to avoid rejection”
Thousands who went into sleeping mode on XAT 2015 registration were awakened with this message and completed their registration process.
Those who haven’t yet registered but still wish to do so, shouldn’t wait any further as only a few hours are left for XAT 2015 registration.
The facility provided for XAT 2015 aspirants of free registration and making the payment after the registration process is completed has been a good opportunity but without making payment you will not be eligible to appear in XAT 2015.
A XAT 2015 aspirant got the ID, password immediately after the registration. There is no need to make the payment in the first step of registration process.
Once you complete entering the profile, contact, education and preferred test city details, you will be required to make payment either online or by means of Demand Draft or in cash. Many candidates, although registered for XAT 2015 by filling up the relevant details, have not yet paid the registration/application fee. The fee for XAT 2015 is Rs. 1000.00 (Rupees One Thousand only) for all applicants, please note. There is no concessionary fee to apply for XAT 2015.
The last opportunity
XLRI, the XAT 2015 conducting B school had earlier extended the last date from Nov 22, to Nov 30 2014 considering the fact that CAT 2014 was to be held on Nov 22 and IIFT entrance test was scheduled for Nov 23, 2014. It provided another 8 days to the XAT 2015 aspirants. But as it was feared that many of them could not complete the process by Nov 30, XLRI has extended the last date of registration to December 8, 2014 to facilitate the XAT 2015 aspirants with more time to register and apply in time.
Apply now: Avoid Last minute glitches
