The industry-veteran-turned-academician Dr. Sanjiv Marwah will again be taking over as Director of JK Business School (JKBS) after a gap of 5 years. Dr. Marwah held this prestigious appointment earlier and will be returning to the JK fraternity after spending 5 years of raising and nurturing the Era Business School as its Founder Director.

Confirming his return to JK Business School, Prof. Marwah says “It is like homecoming for me, JKBS is a part of the prestigious JK conglomerate, and has all that it takes to be amongst the elite B-schools of the country. The time I’ve spent away from JKBS has allowed me to introspect on the path we should take to catapult JKBS to an even higher position.”

Sharing the information, Abhishek Singhania, Vice Chairman JK Education Foundation says “Dr. Marwah’s contribution during his first stint as Director, JK Business School, was remarkable.  He understood the burgeoning needs of corporate Gurgaon and ensured that the pedigree of management graduates passing out from the institute matched the industry requirements. He has the pulse of the industry, and it is great to have him back at the helm of affairs at JKBS.”
 
Noted academician and recipient of Rashtriya Gaurav Shiksha Puraskar (2014), Dr. Marwah is  regarded for his ability to bridge industry-academia skill gap. His corporate career spanned the 90’s, and was majorly with DCM and Onida. He shifted to academia in the late nineties, and after his PhD has held leadership position in varied institutions including a University professing 10 professional disciplines. His international associations include Lincolnshire and Humberside University, U.K., Thames Valley University, U.K., University of Bedfordshire, U.K., Singapore Management University, Singapore, Kathmandu School of Management, Nepal, Philadelphia University (USA), Sichuan University, China, and Skyline University, Sharjah.

Dr. Marwah is an avid researcher. His work has been published in almost every prestigious journal. He has a book on Project Management (2013) that is widely referred to by Industry and academia. He is currently working on a much-anticipated second book on the subject of Customer Satisfaction. His Student’s Handbook on Research Methodology, for University Postgraduate and M.Phil students, was published in 2009 and found wide acceptance. Earlier he had also brought out a handbook on “Insurance Marketing” in 2005, for the students of AIMA. Dr. Marwah is often published and quoted in a variety of media.
