Sharing with MBAUniverse.com Prof munish Thakur XAT 2015 convener has informed that the lone highest scorer in XAT 2015 is a Delhi Girl Neha Manglik, a resident of Mayur Vihar New Delhi.
Moving quickly to help thousand of XAT aspirants, XAT 2015 result was declared even before a week to the pre declared date of result announcement. According to XAT 2015 notification, XAT result was expected to be declared on January 31, then Prof Munish Thakur XAT 2015 convener shared that the result would be declared by January 25. The processing of XAT 2015 result however got over even faster and the result was declared in the early morning on Jan 23, 2015.
XAT 2015 takers are now able to view and download their score cards from XAT 2015 site at the link. XLRI the XAT 2015 conducting B school has been conducting Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) for the past 60 years and one of the key USPs in declaration of XAT results over the years has been that it is declared well ahead of pre declared date. Result for XAT 2014 was also declared 10 days prior to pre announced date. XLRI conducted XAT 2015 in paper pencil mode in a single session on Jan 4, 2015.
Delhi Girl tops the list: No 100 percentiler
There is only one topper in XAT 2015 as against 4 toppers in XAT 2014. Neha Manglik of Mayur Vihar New Delhi has scored highest percentile in XAT 2015. In fact XAT 2015 has not awarded 100 percentile even to the highest scorer. As per the percentile calculation method in XAT the candidate may not score 100 percentile. According to Prof Munish Thakur, XAT 2015 convener and Admission Chairperson XLRI “ Only one student has got highest marks. Our percentile calculation is slightly different and the topper does not score hundred percentile.”
XAT 2015 has shown a major deviation in number of high scorers that has declined in comparison to XAT 2014.
21% Girls among successful candidates
Sharing exclusively with MBAUniverse.com Prof Munish Thakur has informed about the key trend in XAT 2015 result saying “ There are 21% girls among successful candidates. In fact, highest ranked candidate is a girl. Her name is Neha Manglik. She is from Mayur Vihar, Delhi”
It is a great achievement for XAT 2015 where girls in such a good percentage have been declared successful and are gearing up to pursue their dream of studying in different management courses at one or other B school in the country.
XAT 2015: No Negative percentile
XAT in fact doesn’t award negative percentile. According to Prof Thakur “ All students got positive percentiles(There is no possibility of negative percentile)”. It means that no candidate can get negative scores as per the score normalization process adopted in XAT 2015
