Post XAT 2015 result announced on Jan 23, 2014 XLRI took no time to declare the short list of candidates on Jan 24, 2015 for next phase of admission round for its various Management programmes. Candidates can check by login with their XAT 2015 registration ID on the following link

 

While entering the XAT 2015 registration ID in the prescribed column, it should be preceded by ‘XAT’ in capital letters else XLRI may not recognize the candidature and may throw an error.

 

There will be a congratulation message from XLRI Admission chairperson, if you are shortlisted else there will a regret message in case the candidate has not been shortlisted.

Sharing earlier exclusively with MBAUniverse.com regarding the declaration date of XLRI shortlist of candidates for GDPI round, Prof Munish Thakur, Chairperson Admission XLRI had  informed “expected date is around 23rd-25th Jan 2015”.

The shortlist at XLRI was ready to be declared and this top rated B school was probably waiting for the announcement of XAT 2015 result. Immediately after the declaration of XAT 2015 result, XLRI took no time to declare the shortlist of candidates.

 

Different cut-off for different programmes

 

The shortlisting criteria based on XAT 2015 scores cut off for GD-PI round at XLRI has been different for different management programmes. The XAT 2015 cut-off percentile for Business Management programme is the highest while for General Management cut off is lowest. 

 

Short list is on Sectional and Overall XAT 2015 cut off 

 

XLRI has taken into account sectional as well as overall XAT 2015 scores in shortlisting the candidates for GDPI round 2015.

 

Overall XAT 2015 Cut-off

 

Following has been the minimum prescribed over all cut off criteria in shortlisting the candidates for various management programmes.

 

Business Management: Minimum prescribed overall XAT 2015 percentile cut off  for ‘BM’ programme at XLRI is 94.23. However actual cut off could have been even higher depending upon the number of candidates in merit position.    

 

Human Resource Management: Although the lowest prescribed cut off XAT 2015 percentile for shortlisting the candidates for ‘HRM’ programme 2015-17 at XLRI is 90.04, the actual cut-off could have gone a bit higher.

 

Global MBA Programme: Minimum XAT 2015 cutoff percentile to be shortlisted for Global MBA programme is 90.04. Again the actual percentile could be higher than the threshold percentile prescribed as cut off percentile.

 

General Management: The threshold XAT 2015 cut off percentile for shortlisting the candidates for ‘GM’ programme at XLRI is prescribed at  67.98. The actual percentile could be higher than the given percentile in actual shortlisting criteria.

 

Section-wise XAT 2015 Cut-offs

 

The shortlisting criteria for GDPI round 2015 at XLRI has minimum section-wise cut offs also based on XAT 2015 exam sectional scores. The final percentile is calculated on the basis of 3 sections namely Verbal & Logical Ability; Decision Making; Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation.  

 

For different management courses at XLRI varied minimum sectional cut offs have been prescribed, although actual sectional cut offs could be much higher.

 

Business Management: The threshold prescribed sectional cut offs for ‘BM-2015-17’ are VALR-78.41; Decision Making-81.06; Quant & DI-90.58.  The actual sectional cut off could be higher than the prescribed minimum percentile.

 

Human Resource Management: Minimum XAT 2015 sectional prescribed cut off for HRM programme at XLRI is  VALR-86.49; Decision Making-79.09; Quant & DI-72.44.  The actual sectional cut off could be higher than the prescribed minimum percentile.

 

Global MBA: XAT 2015 minimum Sectional cut off for this programme at XLRI has been prescribed  for VALR-78.41; Decision Making-76.95; Quant & DI-80.86.  The actual sectional cut off could be higher than the prescribed minimum percentile.

 

General Management: XLRI proposed the minimum XAT 2015 sectional cut offs for  shortlisting the candidates for ‘GM’ programme for the 3 sections as follows   VALR-45.29; Decision Making-43.29; Quant & DI-61.48.  The actual sectional cut off could be higher than the prescribed minimum percentile.

 

Actual cut off could be higher

 

Since XLRI has prescribed these minimum XAT 2015 sectional cut off percentiles for each of the 4 programmes. It means below this percentile no scope to find your name among the short listed candidates exists.

 

The actual cut off percentile could be higher than this threshold percentile. You may check whether you have been shortlisted by XLRI in accordance to above referred cut offs.
