Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida one of the leading B schools in Delhi NCR will close the admission application process for PGDM batch 2015-17 on Jan 30, 2015. GDPI round for shortlisted candidates is proposed to begin in 15 cities across the country on February 14 and will conclude on February 15, 2015.
BIMTECH Greater Noida will accept CAT 2014 scores for its flagship PGDM programme. The consideration to shortlist the candidates for next stage of admission round at BIMTECH Greater Noida is overall CAT 2014 percentile as against the high sectional percentile considered by IIMs to shortlist the candidates.
Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) was established in 1988 under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture, and supported by Birla group of companies. Candidates can select any of the two Programmes as his/her first or second preference. On selecting the programme option, all the courses as per the selected qualifying examination will be displayed. Candidate can select maximum two courses in one application form. Applicants are required to indicate choice of course at the time of filling up the form.

Application fee: How to pay
The application fee amount for applying to BIMTECH Greater Noida is Rs. 1500/- which can be made either in cash on through online mode.
Cash payment - Cash payment at BIMTECH, Admission office or at the specified branch of T.I.M.E./ Bulls Eye/ IMS learning Centre can be made. All the candidates intending to pay the fee in cash, should pay Rs. 1500/- before applying online. After payment of cash, the candidate will be provided with a copy of admission brochure and a scratch card. The scratch card contains a 16 digits PIN number. It is mandatory for the candidate to provide this PIN number in the appropriate box of the online form.
Online payment through Debit/Credit Card – Candidates intending to pay online can pay Rs. 1500/- through Debit/Credit card.
No seat reservation at BIMTECH
BIMTECH does not have any reservation for any category except 10% for (Corp. Sponsored/NRI/NRI Sponsored & International Students). Information sought in respect of category is for statistical purpose only. Final dates like declaration of selected candidates list, deposition of fee etc. can be seen at the announcement section of BIMTECH web site.
Intake at BIMTECH
BIMTECH will admit 420 students to the various PGDM programmes in 2015 for the batch 2015-17. Programme wise intake details are as follows
PGDM- 240 seats; PGDM(IB)-60 seats; PGDM (IBM)-60 seats; PGDM(RM) 60 seats
Expected CAT 2014 cut off
Candidates applying for flagship PGDM 2015-17 batch at BIMTECH will be shortlisted for next stage of admission on the basis of CAT 2014 scores.
The expected CAT 2014 cut off percentile to get shortlisted at BIMTECH is 75+ and the best part is that BIMTECH would consider overall CAT 2014 percentile score instead of shortlisting the candidates for next stage of admission on the basis of sectional percentile scored in CAT 2014.
Programme fee
PGDM and PGDM (IB) Tuition Fee structure for the full course 2015-17 will be Rs 10 Lakhs while for PGDM (IBM) & PGDM (RM) the tuition fee will be Rs.8 lakhs
GD-PI &WAT: Begins on Feb 14
The final stage of admission round comprising GD-PI & WAT will be conducted in 15 cities across the country on Feb 14 and 15, 2015. BIMTECH will conduct Group Discussion, Written Ability Test and Personal Interview in the second stage of admission round after shortlisting the candidates at the first stage.

Beating the slowdown in placement offers, the placement season 2014 at BIMTECH saw a 55% rise in highest domestic salary from Rs.9.65 lakhs to Rs. 15 lakhs per annum. International placement highest package also went up from Rs. 17.5 lakhs to Rs 19 lakhs adding another feather in cap of BIMTECH Greater Noida.
