Your CMAT second test 2015 Admit card will contain your photo, name, signature, CMAT Roll number, test date, time, reporting time at the venue, venue name and address as well as brief instructions

AICTE has enabled and issued today on Jan 30, 2015 the Admit Cards for second CMAT 2015 to be conducted by AICTE from Feb 19 to Feb 22, 2015 on All India basis. Candidates can download their Admit cards from the AICTE site and in case of any problem they should contact AICTE immediately.

 

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will be conducting the second CMAT 2015 a National Level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) to select suitable students for admission in management programmes for academic year 2015-16. First CMAT 2015 was held in September 2014.
 
According to AICTE the candidates are given two opportunities to appear in CMAT for admission session commencing in 2015. While the first CMAT was conducted in September, 2014 the second CMAT 2015 will be held in a 4 day test window from Feb 19 to Feb 22, 2015. The better of two scores will be used for admission for PGDM/MBA batch 2015-17.

Admit cards for CMAT Feb 2015 test can be generated on-line now. In case of any difficulty candidates can contact AICTE office over phone or on their email id.

 
Your CMAT second test 2015 Admit card will contain your photo, name, signature, CMAT Roll number, test date, time, reporting time at the venue, venue name and address as well as brief instructions.
 

Please note that apart from online availability and generation of Admit cards, they will be sent to the email ID provided by you. But no hard copy of the admit card will be sent, so don’t wait for the hard copy of the same. Since Admit Card is a mandatory requirement, you are supposed to bring the print out of the same at the test centre.

 

Registration closed on Jan 15, 2015

 

AICTE opened the online registration window for CMAT Feb 2015 on Nov 6, 2014 and after giving an extension of 10 days’ time closed it on January 15, 2015.  All the candidates who are graduates or are in the final year of graduation in any discipline could apply for CMAT Feb 2015. The only condition was that their results should be declared prior to commencement of admission 2015.

 

Key trend in CMAT Registration

 

CMAT is considered to be the second largest management entrance test after CAT. Despite ups and downs and after witnessing a dip of around 40 thousand in registration, the number has again gone up for CMAT Feb 2015. In fact as per the past registration trend in CMAT, more candidates will take CMAT February test in comparison to CMAT September test.
 
Apart from B schools that are going to accept CAT/XAT scores, there are leading B schools in the country who accept CMAT scores. Good marks in CMAT Feb 2015 exam will offer participants ample scope to get admitted into some of the highly ranked university and private B schools in the country.
 

CMAT Feb 2015: Exam pattern 

 

CMAT is a computer based test (CBT) and the CMAT 2015-16 second test (Feb 2015) will be held in 62 cities all across India in a 4 day test window from Feb 19 to 22, 2015.

 

There will be 2 test sessions of 3 hours each on every day; the first one will be from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and the second one will be from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM.Sharing about the computer based pattern of the test, AICTE mentions, “Each candidate will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and scratch paper for rough work. After the test, candidates must leave the scratch paper at the desk.” The test comprises Multiple Choice Questions.

 

The test is divided in 4 sections. There will be 25 questions in each section. The total duration is 3 hrs (180 mins).

4 marks would be awarded for each correct answer. There shall be negative marking for wrong answers. For each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.

 

CMAT Feb 2015 - Scoring & Ranking

 

The result of candidates appearing for computer based test CMAT Feb 2015 will be displayed with Raw Scores and Rank secured in the All India merit list.

 

Raw Score in CMAT Feb 2015

 

• The raw score will be calculated by assigning:

 

1. + 4 points for the correct answer

 

2. - 1 point for incorrect answer

 

3.   0 point for no answer

 

• Candidates will be provided with raw scores for each section.

 

CMAT Feb 2015 results on March 25

 

CMAT Feb 2015 results are expected to be declared on March 25, 2015. According to AICTE, CMAT results have been designed to rank all the candidates who appear in the test based on their aptitude towards the management education in the order of their merit.

 

The CMAT Feb 2015 exam score cards can be downloaded from March 25 to April 25, 2015. The scores will be valid for the admissions to academic year 2015-16.

 

The biggest beneficiaries of CMAT currently are those students who intend to take admissions into AICTE approved MBA programs falling under State Universities accepting CMAT scores as they don’t need to take any other test to apply to MBA programs in these states.

MH-CET 2015 is yet other very important MBA/PGDM/MMS entrance test going to be conducted on March 14 & 15, 2015 across Maharashtra.
