Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi is probably the only IIM offering 2 years full time Post graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM) to CAT 2014 takers. MBA aspirants who scored high percentile in CAT 2014 can explore admission opportunity to this programme.

ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR PGDHRM 2015-2017
Admission to PGDHRM of IIM Ranchi will be based on the performance of candidates in the CAT, Personal Interview & Written Ability Test (PI & WAT) and also on their profile. The PI & WAT process will be conducted by IIM Ranchi.
Short listing Criteria for PGDHRM
An initial shortlist shall be prepared of candidates who would be eligible for PI & WAT process for admission to the PGDHRM 2015-17 batch of IIM Ranchi. Candidates for PGDHRM will be shortlisted based on CAT performance, work experience and bachelor’s degree scores and is expected to be announced around second week of February 2015.
75% weightage in shortlisting will be given to the CAT score, 15% weightage is given to the discipline at the bachelor’s level and 10% weightage is given to the Work experience.
All candidates applying for PGDHRM program of IIM Ranchi would also have to fill an online profile form in the IIM Ranchi website, which will be used for further evaluation.
PI & WAT Process
Personal interviews and WAT are planned to be conducted at five different centres namely Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Chennai. The exact dates for PI & WAT will be communicated to shortlisted candidates in due course of time.
Final Admissions 2015
After the PI & WAT, the consolidated merit list (CML) would be compiled on the basis of following components and their corresponding weights namely CAT Score 20%; PI Score 35%; WAT Score 20%; Profile 25%.
The profile scoring methodology for IIM Ranchi is as follows- out of 25 Marks Academic Profile 10; Work Experience 10; Gender Diversity 5.
85% and above marks from Class 10 onwards will be awarded highest weightage and work experience between 18 to 23 months will be awarded highest weightage of 10 points.
Allocation of marks, during PI, will be based on the check for relevance with educational background and the profile of the company worked in. 3 marks for Gender Diversity will be awarded to female candidates only.
