IIM-C gets ready to host its business meet Intaglio; draws international participation

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C) is getting ready to host its annual international Business School meet -- Intaglio. IIM-C has received record participation from top notch international B-schools and corporates. The meet will be held from J

Dr. Kiran Bedi – India's first woman IPS officer, Mr. Sarthak Behuria – Chairman, IOCL, Mr. Chandra Sekaran – President & MD, CTS and Mr. Siddarth,   IT Secretary – West Bengal will presides over the Intaglio. Some of the prestigious organizations that are participating in Intaglio include NERA Economic Consulting, London; Boston Consulting Group; the India Club of Wharton Business School and the India Business Forum of London Business School.  

Apart from the leading Indian schools such as the Indian Institutes of Management, Intaglio received participation from 35 international institutes including Wharton School, Washington University, Carnegie Mellon University, UCLA Anderson School of Management from USA, University of Toronto (Canada), ESCP-EAP (France); London Business School, UK; and many others. Says IIM-C, "Intaglio saw participation from close to a staggering 4000 students from 112 institutes across the world in the preliminary rounds of the events launched in the run-up to Intaglio."  

This years Intaglio is also drawing massive corporate participation. According to IIM-C, "Hundreds of executives from about 85 international corporate houses including Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey, Deutsche Bank, Citibank, Bain Consulting, ABN AMRO, etc., have participated in the events of Intaglio. This apart, several Indian companies such as Infosys, ICICI and Tata Consultancy Services have also participated in large numbers."  

Intaglio will also hold workshops and special sessions by international institutes like NERA Economic Consulting senior executives from London will conduct a special workshop on 'Competitive Policy'. However, Contact Singapore, an international body which facilitates the exchange of information to link Singapore-based employers is conducting a special session on "working and living in Singapore."
