Registration and Application process for MAHCET 2015 for admission to MBA/MMS 2015-17 batch has been opened by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra today on Feb 18, 2015. DTE will close the registration process on Feb 27, 2015. However DTE has allowed for late registration till March 2, 2015 till 5 PM.

Feb 18: Online Registration opens

 

DTE Maharashtra has allowed only online registration process for MAHCET 2015. According to DTE Maharashtra “The aspiring candidate shall follow the process of admission through the dedicated Online Application System.”

 

The detailed registration application form has been posted on DTE Maharashtra site and it is advisable that the candidates should complete it as early as possible since there could be technical glitches in case you opt for late registration.

 

Online registration for MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2015 is possible through computer connected to Internet on the web site.

 

Feb 27: Closing date for application

 

Although the registration process will continue till 5 PM on Feb 27, 2015, DTE has also allowed the late registration for MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2015 on the aforesaid website till 5 PM on March 2, 2015. The Candidate has to submit and confirm the Online Application Form for CET through candidate login by himself/herself from the place convenient to him/her.

 

How to Pay Registration Fee

 

Registration fee for Open Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates and NRI/Foreign Nationals / PIO/Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries Candidates is Rs 1000/-
However, For Candidates of Backward Class Categories SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only the registration fee is Rs 800/-

 

2 Modes to pay

 

Application form processing fee can be paid at any Axis Bank Branch in cash through e-challan as per schedule during the working hours of the respective Branches. No additional charges will be payable in case the payment is made through e-challan at any branch of Axis Bank.

 

The candidate can also make online payment of the fees by Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card payment gateway for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees. No other mode of payment shall be permitted.

 

The applicable service charges as RBI guidelines are as under-

 

Credit Card : 1.80% of the application fee plus service tax as applicable. 

 

Debit Card : 0.75% of the application fee plus service tax as applicable. 

 

Internet Banking : 1.80% of the application fee plus service tax as applicable

 

How to apply: 4 step registration process

 

There are 2 icons on the DTE Maharashtra site while applying for MAHCET 2015 i.e. Apply for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2015 & Login Registered User.

 

The aspirant applying for MAHCET 2015 should click on Apply for MAH-MBA/MMS -CET 2015. After completing the application form, you will receive the application ID with which you can login anytime as registered user on MAHCET 2015 site.

 

 Step-1: Complete Registration details

 

The first step is to fill Registration Details, choose your Password and note down system generated Application ID. The candidate is supposed to supply all the details while filling the Registration Details as required in the registration/application form.

 

DTE Maharashtra has given the facility to choose the password. The candidate therefore is required to choose password and Security Question and enter his/her answer.

 

After successful submission of the data, Application ID will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form (Upload Images of Photo and Signature, Edit/Save Data, Payment) and also required for all future correspondence.

 

For subsequent logins, candidate will be able to login directly with his/her respective system generated Application ID and chosen Password.

 

Step-2: Upload Photograph & Signature

 

The next step is to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature of prescribed size while getting ready to proceed with the next step.

 

According to DTE Maharashtra The scanned images of photograph, Signature and thumb impression should be in.jpg/.jpeg format only. Size of the photo image must be greater than 10 kb and less than 100 kb.

 

Size of the signature image must be greater than 5 kb and less than 20 kb. Dimension of photograph image should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm(Height) only. Dimension of signature image should be 3.5 cm(length) x 1.5 cm(Height) only.

 

Step 3: Check entered Data

 

MAHCET 2015 aspirant should check the data filled in the application form. In case of any correction, you can edit the same and make necessary corrections to it. Once the data is saved, you will not be allowed to change the same.

 

Step 4: Make payment

 

Unless you pay your application fee, the registration is not complete. It is not necessary that you should pay alongwith filling the details in the registration form for MAHCET 2015; however you are supposed to pay the requisite application fee in next few days, if you choose to pay it later.

 

You can pay Application Fee either by Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking or by e-Challan to be submitted at any Axis Bank Ltd in India

 

Payment by Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking: The candidate has to select Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking option to pay the application fee and follow the online instruction to complete the payment of fee. After successful payment, candidate will be able to print the Application Form.

 

Payment by Bank e-challan: The candidate has to select e-challan option to deposit the application fee through e-Challan mode. As soon as he/she selects, an e-Challan will be generated containing specific details of the candidate along with amount to be paid.

 

The candidate has to take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest branch of the Axis bank for making payment. After the confirmation of fee deposited from Bank/DTE, the candidate will be able to print the Application Form.

 

MAHCET 2015 Registration:Important Instructions

 

During online form filling, candidate will be required to choose Password and Security Question and its Answer. Candidate is advised to record/remember the Application ID and Password for all future logins.

 

How to create Password

 

The Password must be 8 to 13 character long; must have at least one Upper case alphabet;must have at least one Lower case alphabet;must have at least one numeric value and must have at least one special characters eg.!@#$%^&*-

 

Subsequent Login

 

For subsequent logins, candidate will be able to login directly with the respective system generated Application ID and the chosen Password.

 

After login candidate can change the password, if desired. You should remember to log out at the end of the session so that the particulars may not be tampered or modified by unauthorized persons.

 

Resetting the password

 

Following 3 options are available to reset Password

 

- Using Security Question & its Answer you had chosen during Form filling.

 

- Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile Number, Or

 

- Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address.

 

No Offline Application

 

Applications sent by Post/Courier / by hand to ARCs/DTE office will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be made. It should be noted that no documents are required to be submitted at this stage. Candidates are advised to keep the necessary documents ready at the time of Document verification stage as per the notified schedule
