Admission process: Acceptable exam scores
Sri Balaji Society will be closing the admission selection process for all the 4 institutes on March 12, 2015. A candidate with 50% marks in graduation as well as a candidate studying in the final year of graduation can apply for admission to PGDM programme in the above B schools.
CAT 2014/XAT 2015/CMAT (Sep 2014)/MAT Dec 2014, Feb 2015 exam takers who have not been able to apply to these institutes can utilize the opportunity in next few days and submit online/offline application till March 12, 2015. Please note that your latest MAT exam scores that you appeared in, should be submitted.
The XAT, MAT and CMAT scores will be equalized and validated to the CAT score value and that will only be counted for the purpose of merit list. There is no cut-off percentile as the B schools award only 30% of the weightage for the entrance examination while making the merit list
These B schools offer AICTE approved 2-year full-time PGDM programs as well as 3 years executive programmes.
How to apply: 4 options
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply to all the 4 B schools of Sri Balaji Society with one common application form by any one of the following methods:
Option 1:
Visit Sri Balaji Society site and apply online by making a payment of Rs.1000 through Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet banking. After filling up the form submit the same online.
Option 2:
You can download the Application Form and submit the same with a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) in favour of 'President, Sri Balaji Society, Pune' payable at Pune. Write your name & address on the reverse side of Demand Draft.
Option 3: (May be difficult now for outstation candidates)
By paying Rs.1,000/- through a DD favoring “'President, Sri Balaji Society, Pune” payable at Pune, you can get the common application form from their office. Please remember to write full name, postal address on the reverse side of DD.
Option 4:
Application Forms can also be obtained by hand from the office of Sri Balaji Society by paying Rs.1000/-. Candidates are supposed to complete the application form and submit the same latest by March 12, 2015.
GD-PI-WAT: major components of Final admission round
Group Discussion (GD)
Candidates who fulfill the qualitative requirements will be called for the Group Discussions by experts. This will be for a duration of 30-45 minutes per group. This may include role play, case studies and extempore speech and GD. 40% of the weightage in the merit list will be given to the GD process. Therefore the GD process may extend to the second day although all efforts will be made to complete the process in one day. Please note that this is an elimination round.
Written Ability Test (WAT)
Essay Writing is an Integral part of Interview Process. Written Communication Skill is very important for any one to succeed in the industry. Therefore, the applicants will be required to appear for an essay writing exercise on a subject, which will be given on the spot in the selection centres. This will be of 30 marks and 50% of the marks will be counted. The time duration for essay writing test will be of half an hour. The topics will be general in nature and anyone who follows the National Newspapers can easily appear for the same and score good marks.
Personal Interview (PI)
Expert panel interview and the essay marks will carry 30% of the weightage. This panel will assess the candidates on various parameters including the suitability of the candidate for a particular specialization. The panel will also give opportunity to the applicants to add or delete course options.

Fee structure
The total fee for PGDM 2015-17 is Rs.6.20 lakhs for the two years. The fee covers tuition, a laptop, books & materials, library membership, examination fee, IT charges and the Institute’s formalwear.
Documents required in PI round
Apart from submitting the applicable management entrance exam scores as cited above along with the application form, the candidates are required to submit the following documents at the time of interview
1. Attested true copies of all Mark-Sheets and Certificates of 10th std., 12th Std., and Graduation. Incase of those who are still in final year of the degree course they should submit mark sheet of the previous years.
2. Work-Experience Certificate. (If applicable).
3. Certificates related to Extra-Curricular Activities (If applicable).
4. Copy of Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST candidates.
