"MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2015 shall be conducted in two or more sessions depending upon the number of applications registered" DTE Maharashtra

On the eve of MAHCET 2015 exam for admission to MBA/MMS 2015-17 programme, Directorate of Technical education (DTE) Maharashtra has issued key guidelines for the test takers and has clarified that instead of 2 days 4 sessions test, MAHCET 2015 could have lesser sessions. According to DTE Maharashtra, “MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2015 shall be conducted in two or more sessions depending upon the number of applications registered. Competent Authority, using standardized equi-percentile method, will be equating scores across sessions.”  Going by the statement it appears not all the 4 sessions on the 2 days testing window on March 14 & 15, 2015  might be utilized as only 60000+ candidates have registered for MAHCET 2015 and out of them many would not  appear in the exam . There are 61 exam cities across the country. Each exam centre is supposed to accommodate hundreds of candidates per session. It may leave the 4th session of MAHCET 2015 unutilized.

Important Testing room tips

DTE Maharashtra has provided important hints and testing room strategy on how to score high and save time in MAHCET 2015 exam.

Candidates are advised to mark the answer of the question immediately and avoid wasting time. There is no point wasting your time in reading all the questions first and then deciding on which ones to answer, as all questions are compulsory i.e. there are no options, and all questions carry equal marks.

It will be better to start answering questions in the test one by one.  If you find a question difficult skip it and go to the next question.

Please ensure that you are marking the answer on the answer sheet against the same serial number as that of the question you are attempting.

Even though there are no negative marks allotted to incorrect answers, it is recommended that you should avoid marking answers at random or based on guesses.
