Keeping its commitment to declare the CMAT Feb 2015 result on the pre-announced date, AICTE has declared the result in the morning today on March 25, 2015 deciding the fate of 57700 CMAT 2015 second test takers.  AICTE has displayed All India merit list for 57700 candidates who have scored between the highest marks 305 to the lowest -70 out of 400 in CMAT Feb 2015 test for admission session 2015-16. 2 Candidates have scored the highest 305 marks making them 100 percentilers.

AICTE announced the CMAT result in the morning of March 25, 2015 and has awarded raw marks along with the percentile. Accordingly the candidate who has scored 305 marks has been awarded 100 percentile. Although AICTE has considered overall scores, the sectional scores have been given due importance in preparing the National Merit List where more candidates have scored same overall percentile.

CMAT conducted by AICTE is a computer based test and is one of the 5 important and largest national level MBA/PGDM entrance tests that facilitate admission to various management programmes in 400+ good B schools across the country. CMAT Feb 2015 was conducted from Feb 19 to Feb 22, 2015 in 2 sessions on each testing day.

View, download and print the score card

CMAT takers can view, download and take the print of their score cards from the CMAT site by clicking on the ‘View Score Card’ on the home page. Besides the All India Merit list is displayed on CMAT site. The right hand side ‘Results’ bar will pop up with earlier results also. This will allow access to merit lists of earlier CMATs.

AICTE has given the guidelines that “The candidates would be able to download the electronically generated score card with complete details using their login details from http://www.aicte-cmat.in from 25th March–25th April, 2015. Separate Score Cards will not be sent by email or by post to the candidates.”

You are supposed to click on ‘View Score Card’. Next window will ask you to login with your registered id and password to view and download the score card. You should take a print of the score card if you wish to apply to a B school for admission to PGDM programme 2015-17.

CMAT doesn’t disqualify the test taker

CMAT does not disqualify any test taker. According to AICTE “The results will rank all the candidates who appeared in the test based on their aptitude towards the management education in the order of their merit. Candidates will not be declared as eliminated from the admission process in the AICTE approved management programme.  On the contrary the aim is to facilitate the institutions to select the suitable candidates as per the rank awarded by CMAT.”

As such all the candidates who appeared in CMAT 2015 second test in February 2015 and have scored even the negative marks have found a place in the merit list. The candidate can now explore admission possibilities on the basis of his/her scores in different B schools.

It will be interesting to note that admissions to academic year 2015 in JBIMS, Mumbai will be based only on CAT, MAHCET and GMAT. CMAT will not be the shortlisting criteria in JBIMS Mumbai.
