The scoring pattern in MAH CET 2015 result shows an upward trend with higher percentage of candidates qualifying for CAP round
In MAH CET 2014 the highest score was 158 but in 2015, 105 candidates have scored 158 and above in MAH CET exam.

MAH CET 2015 result declared by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra on March 25, 2015 quite late in the evening as against its promise to declare it at 5 PM has brought with it many firsts and surprises. The scoring pattern in MAH CET 2015 result shows an upward trend with higher percentage of candidates qualifying for CAP round to be conducted by DTE Maharashtra. DTE website suffered lot of technical glitches during the process of result declaration and due to the traffic pressure the site remained suspended from 4.45 PM to 6.10PM.

In its information brochure DTE Maharashtra has clarified that separate merit lists for the different category candidates will be prepared for CAP rounds for admission to MBA/MMS 2015-17 programme in Maharashtra B schools. The dates for the proposed Centralized Admission Process (CAP) are yet to be announced by DTE Maharashtra.

Result has many firsts

MAH CET 2015 result has brought with it many surprises for the test takers and for the B schools as well. For the first time, score of 170 marks out of maximum 200 marks has been awarded to 5 MAH CET 2015 takers making this highest score in MAH CET.

In MAH CET 2014 the highest score was 158 but in 2015, 105 candidates have scored 158 and above in MAH CET exam.

Out of 60292 candidates who registered for MAH CET 2015, more than 57000 candidates appeared in the exam. The 95%+ appearance has broken the record of other MBA/PGDM exams where less than 90% of the registered candidates appear for the test.  According to DTE Maharashtra while 57219 candidates have scored positive non zero marks, 5 candidates have scored zero marks. There were 24 candidates in MAH CET 2014 who scored zero marks.

Expect higher cut offs in CAP

Going by the scoring pattern in MAH CET 2015, candidates aspiring for admission in top B schools in Maharashtra should expect a higher cut off in admission criteria.
