What is the Harvard 2+2 Program?
The 2+2 program from Harvard Business School (HBS) is a deferred MBA enrollment program designed for college seniors without work experience. Applicants must be in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree program or master’s degree program. The program is made up of 2 years of full time work experience followed by two years in the HBS MBA program.

Once admitted to the 2+2 program, candidates are required to spend the first two years working in a company in public, private or non-profit sector. After completion of 2 years of remarkable work experience, students join the MBA program at Harvard.

Eligibility

1. Candidates only in the final year of study are eligible to apply
2. Candidates who do not have full time work experience are eligible
3. Candidates from joint bachelor/graduate degree program
4. Candidates must be graduating between Oct 1, 2015 and Sept 30, 2016 to apply for the upcoming Fall 2018 intake
5. The 2+2 program seeks candidates form all backgrounds of study such as science, mathematics, and engineering among others.

Minimum Admission Requirements
Candidates must have a valid GMAT or GRE score. International students must have valid TOEFL/IELTS or PTE score. However if you are attending an English speaking university, such scores are not required but highly recommended. Work experience is not required.

Selection Criteria for 2+2 applicants
Harvard Business School looks for candidates who have showed excellent leadership and analytical skills during their college days through various extra- curricular activities. Outstanding academic records, high GMAT scores and other achievements are important.

Application Deadlines
Application deadlines for the HBS MBA and 2+2 program are same. There are three application rounds, MBA abroad aspirants must however apply latest by Round 2.
Round 1: Sept 09, 2015 (Decision: December 2015)
Round 2: Jan 06, 2015   (Decision: March 2016)
Round 3: April 4, 2016   (Decision: May 2016)

Application Process
Application process is online and similar to the MBA program. The application fee for the 2+2 program is $100 which is non refundable. Admitted students must also pay a non-refundable tuition deposit of $1000 to hold their place in the class.
