Singapore offers the sights of gleaming skyscrapers, Chinese shophouses, Malay mosques, Hindu temples, and endless chain of air-conditioned shopping malls. The 2012 Quality of Living Survey by Mercer Human Resource Consulting revealed that Singapore is ranked #1 in Asia for offering the best quality of life. Singapore also emerged as the ‘Happiest country in Asia’ in a study reported by ABC News.

Nanyang business School at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) located in the heart of Singapore is an ideal place for business students. The rigorous MBA programmes are packed with classes, team work, case studies and assignments. Student Council and Clubs
The Nanyang MBA Student Executive Council or Student ExCo is responsible for a lively experience during the time at Nanyang MBA. Various student clubs including Industry Clubs, Social clubs, Sports and Cultural clubs are also present which hosts various activities. Rich variety of activities are organized by the Arts, Design & Media Clubs to give a well rounded education and experience to the student community.

Student Activities
Keeping the work-life balance belief strong, Nanyang business school has its own community center which organizes trips to children homes which provides care, protection and shelter to children from underprivileged backgrounds. Other student activities in the past year include Kayaking at PulauUbin Islands and Yellow Ribbon Prison Run. The Sports and Recreational Center provides ample opportunities to the students to participate in various activities thus promoting a healthy lifestyle.

MBA Olympics
The MBA Olympics at Nanyang is a sporting event that invites students from all MBA schools in Singapore in a friendly competition. The sole purpose of the event is to create awareness for a cause and raise funds for charity. The MBA Olympics 2015 organized by Nanyang MBA is targeted to promote corporate social responsibility in business. Students can take part in various sports such as badminton, athletics, table-tennis, basketball during this event.

Business Case Competitions
To further equip students with business skills, Nanyang MBA holds business case competitions which provide invaluable opportunities for students to apply their academic concepts in real business. Students regularly participate in extremely challenging international business case competitions which adds value to their MBA experience. These competitions are also attended by participants from B-schools in USA, Canada, and Germany. Some major international business case competitions in the last years were 2012 John Molson MBA International Case Competition (Nanyang MBA participants won all cases except one), Innovate China 2012 (Nanyang MBA were runners up), Asia Venture Challenge 2012 (Nanyang MBA participants in 2nd place) among others. In recent times, Nanyang MBA also hosted several case competitions such as Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) 2015 and Amalgamation 2015.

Accommodation
On-campus housing is available to full time international MBA students at Nanyang Business School. Different types of accommodation are available at Graduate Hall, Nanyang Heights and Nanyang Valley. All rooms are furnished with Single Bed, Wardrobe, Study Desk, Air-Conditioning and Personal Bathroom. The Nanyang campus being Wi-Fi enabled, internet connection is also available in all rooms.

MBA students can also opt for off-campus accommodation outside yet very close to the NTU campus. The Off-Campus Accommodation System (OCAS) of Nanyang provides information and assistance to the students. It is recommended that international students initially opt for on-campus housing. After having settled down, students can take their time to search for new accommodation outside.

Nanyang Business School is a residential close knit community. The campus includes all major facilities including banking facilities, ATMs, supermarket, postal services, books and computer stores etc. The campus is also connected by the SBS Transit Line and Internal Bus Shuttle service. The campus life at Nanyang will not only help you learn about the country’s culture but will also provide you the platform to learn and share your knowledge and experiences.
