The Wharton MBA
The full time MBA at Wharton is rigorous and quantitative. The length of the program is 20 months. Candidates can select among 18 majors and choose electives from among Wharton’s wide course offerings which include newly introduced courses such as Advanced Corporate Finance, Entrepreneurship and Venture Initiation, Fixed Income securities and much more.

Wharton partners with schools around the world to provide well-rounded international experience. Global learning is integrated in the MBA curriculum which includes international dual-degree programmes, consulting opportunities in emerging countries such as Chile, India and China, Global Modular courses and so on. Since 1978, more than 1000 students have participated in the consulting program helping more than 250 companies develop market entry strategies in North America and elsewhere.

Eligibility for MBA (Full Time)
Applicants to Wharton are required to hold a degree program equivalent to U.S. four year undergraduate college/university programs. Equivalent programs include international three year bachelor degree programs. Candidates having 3 years bachelors’ degree from India are therefore eligible to apply.

Applicants must have a valid GMAT or GRE score prior application. MBA abroad aspirants must additionally submit a TOEFL score. Please keep in mind that Wharton accepts only the TOEFL score.

Wharton admits candidates without or limited work experience, however a full time work experience of atleast 2 years is recommended.

Evaluation of Candidates at Wharton
According to Wharton, they look for candidates exhibiting professional maturity and quality of work experience is evaluated rather quantity. Wharton MBA is extremely rigorous and candidates must be able to prove their survival capability at Wharton.  Wharton candidates are expected to excel beyond academics, therefore extracurricular activities and community services are important.

Fees and Scholarships
The 1st year tuition fee for academic year 2015-2016 is $70,870. Total fee including books and living expenses is estimated to be $100,454. All admitted students are considered for scholarships and are notified at the time of admissions.

From the class of 2014, 98.2% receiving job offers and 96.1% accepting job offers. Annual base salary of a Wharton graduate is recorded to be$125,000.
