MAT 2015: Last date to apply extended for CBT till September 1; No extension for paper pen test

Offering a great relief from technical glitches and last minute rush, AIMA has extended the last date of online registration for computer based MAT 2015 test to September 1, 2015. The computer based MAT 2015 is to be held from September 12, 2015 onwards. Less than a week remains to register and apply online for CBT MAT 2015 as the process will come to an end on Tuesday Sep 1, 2015.

However, no extension in last date of registration for paper Pen based MAT 2015 test to be held on September 6, 2015 has been announced.

New Candidates to create login
New candidates applying for MAT 2015 exam need to visit AIMA MAT 2015 website and click on Option 1 and then on Fresh Candidate to Create Log in.

You have to fill the details to create Log In and must have a valid email ID for applying online. Press the button “Submit”. Once the information filled in the form, it will not be changed.

The confirmation for the registration will also be sent on your email as entered in the form. Please note that the Email-ID and Date of birth as filled by you will be used to login to the website to fill the online application form.

Good Opportunity for already registered candidates
Since there are candidates who have already registered and have been allotted registration number but have not paid the requisite fee to appear in MAT 2015, can now login with their registered id and complete the on-line application form to appear in computer based MAT 2015 test.

These candidates if applied without uploading the image of photograph and signature will have to reprint the application form and shall have to login with the provided registration ID and complete the application form and make the payment.

Complete quickly: Option-1 kept open
Sharing the information All India Management Association (AIMA) has advised ‘Last date for applying for Computer Based Test under Option-1 is extended upto 01 Sep 2015’.  Option-1 is the online registration process where payment is to be made with Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) payment or Demand draft. The candidate exercising option-1 will also have to upload the image of his photograph & signature in On-line application form.

Documents required
Before starting to fill up the on-line application, keep ready with you the following details / documents / Information

1. Valid Email ID (the email should be valid for at least 1 year)

2. Personal details

3. Educational qualification details

4. Image of scanned photograph in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB

5. Image of scanned signature in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KB

6. Debit / Credit Card/Net Banking details in case making online payment.

7. Demand Draft of requisite fee of Rs.1200/- drawn in favour of “All India Management Association”, payable at New Delhi in case making payment by DD

Aug 25; last date to submit application for paper-pen mode MAT
All India Management Association (AIMA) will be convening paper pencil and online Management Aptitude Test (MAT) Sep 2015 on Sep 6, 2015 in paper-pen mode and from September 12, onwards as Computer based test. The last date for submission of completed application form for paper-pen based MAT 2015 test falls today on August 25, 2015.

Admit card from August 29 onwards
All the registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based MAT 2015 can download their Admit Card from AIMA website from August 29, 2015 onwards.  Specific Admit Card is generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test. No separate Admit Card will be issued and sent to a candidate by post.

AIMA however advises ‘On the basis of information given in the MAT Application Form, Admit Card of provisionally eligible candidates will be available for download from website on or after 29 August 2015 (2PM onwards).’

On the due date you must download the admit card, containing the details of the centre/venue for the examination. You are supposed to take a printout of the admit card. Please remember candidates will not be allowed to enter the Written Test Venue without a valid Admit Card.

The validity of MAT 2015 score is one year, hence the scores of MAT 2015 will be accepted by more than 180 B schools across the country for MBA/PGDM admission 2016.

MAT is a national level entrance test for admission to PGDM institutes where thousands of the aspirants test their skills. The test is conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association).

Usually there are 4 MAT tests in a year viz February, May, September and December.  The scores of MAT 2015 will be used as admission criteria for MBA/PGDM programmes commencing 2016.
