NMAT by GMAC to allow 3 attempts
If an NMAT by GMAC aspirant is not satisfied with his performance and thinks that he/she can improve the scores by taking NMAT by GMAC again, the test can be rescheduled for ‘Retake’ but with a minimum gap of 15 days.

The scheduling to retake the NMAT by GMAC begins on October 6, 2015 and will continue till December 18, 2015.  Candidates have an option of retaking NMAT by GMAC up to 3 maximum attempts, including “no shows” in NMAT 2015.

Judiciously plan retakes: Do’s and Don’ts

1. You can schedule the retake test on a date 15 or more days after the most recent date of attempt which means you will have to wait at least 15 calendar days before you can appear for a retake attempt in NMAT by GMAC. Since after the first NMAT by GMAC attempt you are now well aware about the exact exam pattern, the level of difficulty of questions; prepare first, take mocks, analyse your mistakes and then only plan the date of your retaking the exam.

2. You can schedule your test any time during the retake scheduling window (subject to real time availability). You will be able to select any slot that is a minimum of 24 hours later than the time you carry out the scheduling transaction. To gain maximum out of this facility, don’t be in a hurry. Find the suitable date and time slot to go for retake. If you are a working professional check for the date when you will be stress free and can appear for the NMAT by GMAC again. Retake for the sake of retake has no point. Better to check your level of preparation according to the current exam trend and then schedule the retake.

3. Remain healthy before retake. The 3 attempts include no-show also. If you are sick and are unable to re-take the NMAT by GMAC on the scheduled date, your opportunity to maximise the scores is lost. ‘No shows’ will be considered attempts. Once your registration for the retake is complete you will receive an email with authorization to schedule the retake for NMAT by GMAC.

4. Review the result and then decide on retake of NMAT by GMAC exam. The test taker scores will be declared in a span of 4-5 weeks from the NMAT by GMAC test delivery. Whether you should apply to a B-school or retake the test, this can be decided after reviewing results. Candidates can view the results and then decide to apply to business school or retake the test depending on their comfort with the results they have obtained.

5. It is important to note that the registration for NMAT by GMAC should be finalised during the registration window open upto October 5, 2015 to become eligible for the retake exam.

Utilise best the Self-scheduling facility
Candidates have the choice to select the date and time of the NMAT by GMAC exam in a real time mode, based on seats availability at each of the centres. Use the self scheduling opportunity to boost your confidence level and schedule the test according to your convenience during the longest test window of 75 days (Oct 6, 2015 to Dec 19, 2015). The aim is to provide candidates with a convenience to choose a test date, based on your comfort level.
