Sticking to its process of issuing the MAT 2015 Admit card 7 days prior to the test, AIMA the MAT 2015 convening authority will enable the September MAT 2015 admit card on August 29, 2015. Admit card is the mandatory document to be carried by the MAT 2015 takers to the test venue on September 6 or 12 depending upon their choice of taking MAT 2015 in paper pen or computer based format.

Specific Admit Card will be generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test. AIMA has specifically informed that All provisionally registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based Test can download their Admit Card from AIMA website on or after 29 August 2015.

How to Download the MAT 2015 Admit Card
AIMA has clarified that the admit card will be available on the AIMA Website when you log on using your MAT  September 2015 name, form number and date of birth in DDMMYY format.  Please note that your Admit card for MAT 2015 will neither be sent on your mail nor any hard copy of the same will be sent to you.

Following window will open when you click on AIMA’s MAT 2015 website. Alternately, if you find any difficulty, you can register free with MBAUniverse.com to ask for help and assistance in getting your admit card downloaded.                              

Details in MAT 2015 Admit Card
While viewing the admit card for MAT 2015, please check that following details should be available. In case any of them is missing, please immediately contact AIMA.

1. Name of the Candidate,

2. Application Form Number

3. MAT September 2015 Roll Number

4. Date of the Test & time of the Test

5.Test Venue & Address.

Special Note:  Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to them in case of Computer Based Test. No separate admission card will be issued. Also, activation of a test centre depends upon the minimum number of registration.

No Logon with mail id
Please remember not to logon with your mail id but to log on to AIMA’s MAT 2015 site with your registered name, form number and date of birth to view the admit card. Once you are able to view it and are satisfied that all the information contained in it, is correct, download and save it in a folder.

Take prints
It will be better to take more than 2-3 prints of your admit card. Keep one with your other mandatory documents which you will have to carry to the exam centre and other with you so that in case of any query you may instantly refer to it.

Please remember that Admit Card is a mandatory document required to take the exam. You must carry a print out of your Admit Card to the exam centre.

Last date to apply extended for CBT MAT 2015
Last date of online registration for computer based MAT 2015 has been extended to September 1, 2015. The process and details on how to register for MAT 2015 with the extended date, is elaborated.
MAT is conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September and December. The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree. A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc) can also appear provisionally. There is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation, which is different for different B-School/University. To understand the admission process of a particular B-school or University, you have to refer to its prospectus/information brochure.

At the time of filling up the registration and application form for MAT 2015, candidates were offered the opportunity to choose any one of the two options to take MAT 2015 in September- Paper Based Test or Computer Based Test.   The paper based MAT 2015 will be held on September 6, 2015 while computer based test will be held from September 12 onwards depending upon the number of candidates appearing in the exam each day. The computer based test will be held in different Time slots at specific test venues subject to number of candidates registering for Computer Based Test.

There are around 180 B-schools including University affiliated management institutes who are expected to accept MAT 2015 scores. However number of MAT 2015 participating Management institutes may vary. The number of B-schools keeps on changing from test to test. Admission criteria for every institute are different. All the B-schools participating in MAT 2015 are either AICTE, DEC approved; University affiliated College, University Department.

MAT 2015 will be a two and half hour test divided in 5 sections comprising 200 Multiple Choice questions. The 5 sections will contain questions will contain questions on Language comprehension; Mathematical skills; Data Analysis and Sufficiency;  Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment (GK) with equal number of 40 questions each.
