With only one day left for CAT 2015 registration, as the process is proposed to close tomorrow on Sep 20, 2015 at 11.59 PM, aspirants have only one last day to register and apply for CAT 2015 and in case any technical problem comes up, it will be difficult to apply within the prefixed time limit.
Although CAT 2015 convener and IIM Ahmedabad faculty Prof Tathagata Bandyopadhyay while sharing in an exclusive interaction with MBAUniverse.com has assured “The registration and application submission process shall function normally. I trust that there will be no problem for candidates applying during the last few days”, he has simultaneously cautioned and has given a clear message to CAT 2015 aspirants “To avoid rush, complete your registration at-least a few days before the last day of registration.” It is therefore better to register today and avoid getting trapped in avoidable rush hour.
No date extension announced
IIMs have not announced any extension in registration date and so far the last date of CAT 2015 registration remains September 20, 2015.
Registration for CAT 2015 was opened on August 6, 2015 and will come to end tomorrow. It will be complete 46 days by the evening on Sep 20, 2015 during which CAT 2015 registration window remained open since it started. Any further wait for the date extension or anything else will not do any good and the aspirants who wish to appear in CAT 2015 should register as soon as possible.

CAT 2015 aspirants should keep all the details related to their personal and academic profile ready to avoid any delay in the registration process due to non-availability of required documents.

Change grade to percentage
If you were awarded grades only and not the marks in percentage form during your academics, please convert the same as per CAT 2015 registration guidelines before filling them up in CAT 2015 application.
Work experience in months
The work experience is to be entered in completed months until 31st July 2015. Before entering these details please calculate and keep the same ready.
Mandatory information
You will not be allowed to continue, if mandatory information is not filled or the required Certificates, scanned images of photographs, signature are not uploaded. So keep them ready digitally as per the required size and format to upload the same.
Don’t forget/misplace your password
Although CAT Centre 2015 will send you new password on your mail, if you forget the existing one, it may take some time and the advice is not to forget it to save time on your registration process. Still in case you forget your password, please click on the Forgot Password button on the Existing User login window. You will receive the new password on your mail id, and not as an SMS.
Review the details before making payment
Once you have completed the last section, i.e. Payment, your application to CAT 2015 is considered complete and you will receive a confirmation mail. After this, changes to any information on the application form are not possible.
It is therefore advised to read all the pages of registration and application after entering and saving the details to make sure that all the entries are correctly filled up.
Avoid part registration
Although CAT 2015 registration site allows but there is no time left now to complete the registration process in steps. Now you are supposed to complete it in one go to avoid any unanticipated technical problem. Better is to go on checking while entering the data in CAT 2015 registration and application form.
Be careful; avoid last minute mistakes
Avoid making any mistakes at the eleventh hour in CAT 2015 registration process. You will have to re-register and will lose your registration money if you make mistakes and do not realize and amend them before making payment and clicking on submit button.
If you make mistake(s) in entering Percentage of marks/Category/Gender /Work Experience or other details which will affect selection process CAT 2015 suggests “you are advised to re-register with a new email ID. Your CAT 2015 application will be considered for the latest registration and Admit Card issued for the same.”
Please note according to CAT 2015 norms ‘No refund of registration fee will be made by CAT 2015 for your earlier registration. Failure to re-register in such circumstances may lead to nullification of your candidature.’
Accessible CAT 2015 registration site
Make sure that CAT 2015 registration website is accessible all the time. In the last minute rush it is very much possible that the website may not work or you are not able to complete the registration and application process. In such cases you are advised to close the internet browser and try it again.
The Registration/ Application form is best viewed in Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome browsers. However, CAT 2015 recommends following version of Internet browser - Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9; Mozilla Firefox 14 to 28; Google Chrome 20 to 33.
