Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2015 for admission to MBA programmes in 14 Symbiosis institutes will award greater emphasis on Analytical Skills. Sharing with MBAUniverse.com the SNAP 2015 convener and SIBM Pune Director Dr R Raman says “Every successful manager needs to be conversant with analytical skills. In the future business scenario, it is very important to understand and work with quantitative information. This fundamentally makes analytical skills highly important in every aspect for every single job out there in the market, which future managers aspire to take up. Hence analytical Ability in SNAP carries maximum weightage”
It is a notable fact that among the 4 sections in SNAP 2015, the Analytical and Logical Ability section will carry a weightage of 60 marks with fewer number of questions as compared to other 3 sections which carry a weightage of 40 marks each and contain more number of questions.
According to Dr Raman, SNAP 2015 convener and Director SIBM Pune “Analytical skills fundamentally include areas like computing, visualization, articulation, and problem solving. Many don’t realize the fact that these skills cannot be taught in a classroom, they are learnt by facing and solving problems in real life.”
