Offering 3 online practice exams designed to give test takers the confidence to perform to the best of their ability, NMATPrep by GMAC the official online preparation tool has been introduced by GMAC on September 30, 2015.
The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), owner and administrator of the NMAT by GMAC exam has announced the launch of its new online test preparation tool, NMATPrep by GMAC. Following last month’s rollout of the Official Guide for NMAT by GMAC Review 2015, this new online portal offers additional questions in the exam’s format to acquaint test takers with the actual test structure and help them prepare for the exam.
The NMATPrep by GMAC online practice exams are available on the NMAT by GMAC website. With the intention of making the exam more student-friendly, NMATPrep by GMAC offers the test taker 3 main advantages:
- One Free Practice Exam which is available to all test takers free of cost
- An Exam Pack, with two more practice exams that can be purchased for Rs.399
- 120 unique and never-seen-before official questions from past NMAT exams in each practice exam, in the same structure as the actual NMAT by GMAC exam
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Vikram Shah, Director, Product Management at GMAC, said, “With the NMAT by GMAC exam testing window beginning October 6, 2015, NMATPrep by GMAC has been introduced to provide test takers with additional practice material that is designed to further help aspirants gain insight about the exam and acquaint them with the structure and pattern of the test, thereby better preparing them for examination day.”
The last date for registration for the NMAT by GMAC exam is October 5, 2015.This will help students to practice more ahead of the 75 day testing window for the exam which will commence on October 6, 2015 and continue through December 19, 2015, at 27 centres in 18 locations across India.
The scores of NMAT by GMAC exam will be accepted by 15 universities in India. They are NMIMS University, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Alliance University, Bangalore, Ansal University, Delhi NCR, ICFAI University, Hyderabad and other locations, Mody University, Rajasthan, Munjal University, Delhi, Amity University, Delhi NCR, Shoolini University, Chandigarh, SRM University, Chennai, Thapar University, Chandigarh, VIT University, Vellore, Woxsen School of Business, Hyderabad, Chitkara University, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) and Hyderabad Business School, GITAM University.
The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) recently assumed ownership and management of the NMAT exam in India from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). The exam has been retitled as the NMAT by GMAC.
The NMAT by GMAC exam is computer-delivered and gives each candidate a randomly generated test from a pool of questions, provided one-at-a-time. The exam has 3 sections – Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. All 3 sections of the NMAT by GMAC are individually timed and test takers must answer questions and review answers to each section within the allotted time of 120 minutes.
