Admission seekers for PGDM 2016-18 batch at BIMTECH will have a unique opportunity to get shortlisted early on the basis of their profile for GD/PI to be held in December 2015 provided they apply by Nov 30, 2015.
Admission process for PGDM batch 2016-18 at BIMTECH Greater Noida and Bhubaneshwar campus has started. The flagship PGDM and PGDM (IB) programmes at Birla Institute of Management Technology are not only AICTE approved but are also NBA accredited.
If the BIMTECH PGDM 2016-18 aspirants wish to get the chance of early shortlisting based on their excellent profile and participate in early GD/PI session in the month of December 2015, they should apply latest by November 30, 2015.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum required qualification to apply for admission to PGDM 2016-18 at BIMTECH is graduation with 50% marks in 10+2+3 pattern. Those who are in the final year of graduation can also apply.
Acceptable Exam scores
BIMTECH will accept CAT 2015, XAT 2016 and GMAT 2015-16 scores for admission to its flagship PGDM and PGDM (IB) programmes.
However, for PGDM (IBM) and PGDM (RM) programmes, in addition to above referred exam scores, the scores of CMAT 2015-16 and MAT Dec 2015 and Feb 2016 scores will also be acceptable by BIMTECH.
MBA aspirants apart from registering and appearing in above exams shall have to apply to BIMTECH to seek admission for PGDM batch 2016-18.
How to apply
Application process at BIMTECH is on-line. Eligible candidates appearing for any of the above mandatory exams and planning to take admission to 2-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at BIMTECH for the batch 2016-18 can apply online only. The application form can be downloaded from BIMTECH site and should be duly filled up and submitted by November 30, 2015.
Application fee
Candidates can apply online. The application fee is Rs 1500/- and can be paid through credit/debit card. On successful payment, a system generated e-mail will be sent to the registered email id of the candidate.

Final Admission criteria
After shortlisting at the first stage BIMTECH will conduct GDPI round and will offer admission to the candidates awarding following weightages on a scale of 100.

Please note that weightage for work experience would ideally be given to a candidate only if he/she had worked in a managerial or supervisory role for a period exceeding 12 months with minimum salary package (CTC) of Rs. 1.8 Lac per annum in a registered company having turnover of Rs. 50 crores or more in the preceding financial year i.e. 2014-15. However, management reserves the right to relax this particular norm on the merit of the case, if the candidate is from a start-up, entrepreneurial or social organization.
An additional weightage of 2% will be given to Girl Candidates in the final merit calculation in order to improve the gender diversity in the class.
