MDI Ex PGPM part time programme revamped; offers flexibility of 2 to 5 years of completion

Management Development Institute Gurgaon, one of the top b-schools in India has revamped their part time executive programme from the 2015 session. MDI has made the course flexible as participants who cannot complete it in 3 years can be allowed up to 5 years to graduate in “exceptional” cases. At the same time, others can finish the program in 2 years.

The changes have been introduced following the review meeting held in MDI. Top industry stalwarts and thought leaders from the institute participated in the review meeting. MDI has launched 27th batch of its executive part time programme. The commencement of part time programme was started with inaugural address by by Shri Manoj Kumar, MD, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd. India
The millennium city Gurgaon is a hub for start-ups and MNCs. Commutation during the peak hours towards the campus was a concern for the participants and one of the suggested changes. Now, instead of evening classes, the institute will hold classes in the weekends.

“The key to sustainability is adaptation to the changing business eco-system. We invite feedback from the industry to make our curriculum flexible for the participant. Value addition in the participant’s career encouraged to revisit our programmes regularly and make them participant friendly. We are delighted to introduce these changes in our curriculum. The program is open to working executives with at least three years post qualification experience. It is aimed at including strategic thinking, decision-making and problem solving abilities, group/team spirit, entrepreneurial and leadership capabilities and mind set ready for innovation and change. Executives from top companies such as IOCL, Genpact, HERO Motor Cycle & Scooters, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd,  BPCL, etc have enrolled for the programme this year.

MDI Gurgaon is one of the India’s top notch B-Schools known for its quality of education and the academic rigour. Management Development Institute was formed as an autonomous body in 1973. MDI is accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), London and also holds a South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS) accreditation.

Application process for admissions in MDI Gurgaon for the batch 2016-18 is open. The process will close on Nov 28, 2015. MDI Gurgaon will accept scores of CAT 2015 which will be held on November 29, 2015.  Apart from appearing in CAT 2015, candidates have to register and apply to MDI Gurgaon separately by November 28, 2015.
