Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak has announced the admission to the doctoral programmes (FPM) 2016. The last date to apply for the programme is January 30, 2016.
IIM Rohtak is the only IIM in NCR region. In its initial years of establishment, IIM Rohtak very well understood the scarcity of quality research programmes in India and hence decided to start the doctoral programme to cater to the rising demand of qualified researchers and academicians in the industry.
Started in the year 2013, the doctoral programme of IIM Rohtak is very popular among aspirants having an inclination towards a career in research or academics.
FPM Specializations
IIM Rohtak offers the doctoral programme with specializations in Business Environment, Financial Management, General Management, Human Resources Management, Information Technology Systems, Marketing, Operations and Strategic Management.
Besides the above listed specializations, doctoral programme will be offered in interdisciplinary areas namely Retail Management and Manufacturing including Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the year 2016.
The course is designed to produce research scholars and academicians with outstanding intellectual capabilities. The highly qualified faculty of IIM Rohtak and guest faculties from other premier educational Institutes mentor the fellow participants to inculcate quality research aptitude in them.
Fellowship
The fellows are awarded a fellowship of Rs 25,000 for the first two years and of Rs 30,000 during the last 2 years along with attractive financial assistance in form of contingency grant. The fellows are strongly encouraged to participate in national and international conferences as well as to go on academic exchange visits to partner institutions for which the institute provides financial support.
Eligibility for FPM
Admissions are open for Indian nationals, PIOs and foreign nationals.
Post graduates in any discipline, Engineering graduates and professionals with MBBS, LLB, CA, ICWA and CS with a valid test score of either of CAT, GMAT/GRE, UGC/CSIR JRF, GATE can apply as per eligibility requirements of the programme at IIM Rohtak.
Admission Process
Only the shortlisted candidates will be invited for the admission interviews where the candidates will be assessed for their intellectual capabilities, research aptitude and interest in the management discipline.
