IIM Lucknow broke its own placement record and registered 100 per cent summer placements for PGP 2015-17 batch in 4 days as against in 4.5 days last year. The 31st batch with 457 students has got internship offers from 157 companies.
The highlight of the summer placement 2015 at IIM Lucknow was participation of 35 first time recruiters. Out of them 60% recruiters were from the e-commerce, Sales & Marketing and Finance sectors.
Top recruiters
Top recruiters at IIM Lucknow summer placement 2015 are Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, Auctus Advisors, Avendus, BCG, Deutsche Bank, Flipkart, Hindustan Unilever,M.H. Alshaya, McKinsey, P&G and TAS, to name a few.
Apart from the above regulars, first time recruiters at IIM Lucknow include AskMe.com, CarDekho.com, Hay Group, Nomura IB and Uber M.H. Alshaya, Deutsche Bank, Hindustan Unilever BSE -0.79 % and Kellogg's offered international internships.
Segment wise placements
Sales & marketing emerged as the top segment with 25% offers followed by Finance with 22% internships and consulting with 21% while e-commerce made 15% offers. Offers from IT/Systems were 10% and from General Management (GM) they were 7%. Analytics, Business Development, Market Research, Social Media marketing and HR domains also made good offers.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has been a hot destination for recruiters and summer placement 2015 is not an exception to it.
