CET is conducted for the students looking for admission to any Management Institute affiliated to Universities in Maharashtra.
The exam will be conducted at 28 cities include Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Kolkata and others.

Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai; Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai; SIES College of Management Studies, Navi Mumbai; Department of Commerce and Management Sciences, University of Pune and MIT School of Management (MITSOM), Pune.

Like other management entrance exams CAT, XAT etc, CET also tests the candidates on three parameters - Verbal Ability, Quantitative ability and Reasoning. The test comprises of 200 questions where the duration of the test is 150 minutes. There was no negative marking in CET, last year.
