MBA at Institute of Management, Nirma University occupies premier position among top league of B-schools. Scores of CAT 2015 will only be acceptable to shortlist the candidates for PI round at Nirma University. According to Dr Somayajulu Garimella, Director IMNU, the expected CAT 2015 cut off percentile in MBA 2016-18 at Nirma University could be 80 to 85 at the first stage of shortlisting the candidates for PI round. The application process is online and is proposed to close on January 10, 2016 for admission to MBA 2016-18 batch.

How to Apply
With many USPs apart from the one above, up the sleeves, the Institute of Management at Nirma University would be closing its on-line admission application process on January 10, 2016.
The application process to apply for MBA 2016-18 is online. The application form can be downloaded and filled up online by visiting the website of IMNU.
Application fee & mode of payment
Applicants should complete the online application form and submit the same along with a non-refundable admission processing fee of Rs.1,500/-. Candidate applying under categories such NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign students/Person of Indian origin holding foreign passport/Gulf Countries and South East Asia candidates should make payment for Rs.5,000/-. The payment can be made online by credit card/debit card or net banking.
A candidate who has applied for admission under general category can convert the application in any other category in which she or he is eligible. In such case, the candidate is required to make a payment of an additional processing fee of Rs.3500/- or US$ 80 and submit it along with a written application referring the original application form Number on or before the last date.
Eligibility to apply
A 3 year bachelor's degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates appearing in the final year of the Bachelor’s Degree can also apply provided they furnish the proof of having met with the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2016. The candidates who fail to meet the minimum eligibility criteria by the time will be asked to withdraw from the programme. The tuition fee paid by such candidates will be forfeited.
CAT 2015: Mandatory Entrance Exam
Only the applicants who have taken CAT 2015 conducted by IIMs on November 29, 2015 can apply for MBA 2016-18 admission at Nirma University. Institute of Management will receive the test scores from IIM for those candidates who have appeared in the CAT 2015 examination and have also applied to IMNU.
Foreign students/NRI/Person of Indian origin/Gulf Countries and South East Asia candidates can be considered for admission on the basis of their GMAT scores also (not taken before January 2015).
However, NRI sponsored candidates will be considered for admission only on the basis of CAT scores. GMAT scores will not be considered for NRI sponsored categories.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) Full time
This is the flagship MBA programme at IMNU. The programme offers specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Operations management and Information technology.
Programme Intake: 240
Fee structure: Rs.10.20 lakhs including hostel fee
Cost of boarding, books, reading material, handouts, printouts, electricity use in the hostel room etc. will be charged separately as per the actuals.
MBA (Family Business and Entrepreneurship)
This is also a 2 year full time residential programme in management education offered at IMNU. The programme aims to equip the future managers with modern management knowledge and skills, family business management techniques and an entrepreneurship approach.
Programme Intake: 60
Fee Structure: Rs. 7.85 lakhs including hostel fee
Cost of boarding, books, reading material, handouts, printouts, electricity use in the hostel room etc. will be charged separately as per the actuals.
The Institute of Management, Nirma University will short list the candidates in order of merit which includes CAT 2015 scores and other criteria as well in the month of February 2016. The Personal Interview (PI) round for final selection at IMNU would begin in the month of March 2016.

The average package offered was about Rs.8.00 lacs per annum.
