MBA 2017: Deadlines to Apply
MBA 2017 course duration at LKCSB, SMU Singapore is of 12 months for full time programme and 18 months for part time programme. Classes For the MBA 2017 session are proposed to commence in January 2017. LKCSB- Singapore Management University has announced the deadlines to submit On-line application as well as the eligibility and other key requirements to apply for the programme.

There are 3 rounds of application deadlines at SMU Singapore. However, candidates are advised not to wait till the last date to ensure timely visa and immigration process. Below are given the round wise Application deadlines for MBA at SMU (Singapore Management University)

Round 1Deadline – February 28, 2016
Round 2Deadline – July 18, 2016
Final Round Deadline – October 15, 2016

Singapore Management University’s Lee Kong Chian School of Business sometimes pre pones the deadlines to apply for the MBA admission due to increasing number of applicants. It will be in your own interest to keep a watch on the application deadlines. For example the final round deadline to apply for MBA 2016 was preponed from Oct 30 to Oct 15, 2015 this year.

Admission requirements
A student must have a minimum 2 years work experience to seek admission to SMU MBA programme. You should Login to the SMU admission portal and upload following required documents with the online application form

1. Online Application Form
2. Resume
3. Academic qualification – transcripts and certificates
4. Two short essays

  1. Why do you want to earn an MBA and why are you choosing to apply to SMU? If you are selected how will you contribute to the SMU MBA programme? (500 words)
  2. Describe your greatest weakness and how have you tried to overcome it. (300 words)

5. Two recommendation forms (downloadable forms available at SMU website)
6. GMAT scores; SMU’s GMAT code for the full time MBA is F8D-7V-35
7. Application fee of S$100

TOEFL/IELTS scores are optional and are required if the applicant’s undergraduate degree was not conducted in English. SMU’s TOEFL code is 9014.

SMU Fee structure
Programme fee to pursue MBA at SMU Singapore is Singapore dollar S$ 62,209.80 including the Goods and Service tax.
