Whether AICTE which is going to conduct the first ever yearly CMAT 2016 exam for management students has itself failed in Exam Management

CMAT 2016 Admit card which was proposed to be issued on January 5, then delayed to January 9 appears to have been blocked due to technical glitches as candidates despite their best efforts have not been able to download the same till date. Now AICTE has issued an important notice “Admit card of valid candidates will be sent to their registered email ID on or before 14th Jan'16. Please contact helpdesk if you do not receive your Admit Card by then.”

Thousands of CMAT 2016 aspirants fear that CMAT 2016 Admit card has been blocked by AICTE. This has created panic among the candidates who now think that AICTE may not be able to conduct a smooth and glitch free computer based CMAT 2016 as promised by it.

Candidates approaching MBAUniverse.com are raising the query whether AICTE which is going to conduct the first ever yearly CMAT 2016 exam for management students has itself failed in Exam Management.

Since Saturday AICTE Website got crashed for the whole day and till Sunday evening it was not accessible. When candidates opened it on Monday morning, the Website was under maintenance till 12:00 noon, afterwards despite getting opened afterwards, when the candidates Clicked on "Download Admit Card" Link, The website crashed again and there was either infinite Loop of Downloading Sign (means Zero Response from website) or It showed "Runtime Error".

AICTE officials have not commented on the issue and when the candidates contacted the helpline to know the reason for CMAT 2016 blocked Admit Card, the costly STD helpline continued to remain busy with a stereo type message coming from answering Machine responding "All our executives are busy" Even after 10 Minutes no person from another side responded. Panick struck candidates had to pay call charges of 10 minutes for that answering machine. No response on e-mail was received.

Non-issuance and blocking of the CMAT 2016 Admit Card has created panic among the CMAT 2016 aspirants whether AICTE would be able to convene its first yearly CMAT 2016 on January 17, 2016 efficiently without technical glitches or it is also going to be a nightmare for the test takers.

AICTE has earlier announced and the information available in the CMAT 2016 FAQ section says “You can PRINT your ADMIT CARD by going to website www.aicte-cmat.in from 5th January, 2016. Apart from the ADMIT CARD made available ONLINE on the website, the admit card will be sent to the email address provided by you.”

Hardly 5 days are left for the CMAT 2016 exam which is going to be held on January 17, 2016. If the technical problem persists and CMAT 2016 Admit Card remains blocked, it may be possible that candidates may not get their admit cards in time and may miss the exam. AICTE should issue the admit cards immediately so that any deficiency in it can be rectified or postpone the date of CMAT 2016 exam to avoid any further panic getting spread among the test takers.
