Recently announced admission policy for the PGP Batch 2016-18 of IIM Rohtak emphasizes the need of only minimum 85 percentile in CAT 2015 as against 90 percentile required by other IIMs to qualify to get shortlisted for PI round.

As against other IIMs, IIM Rohtak would award weightage not only to CAT 2015 percentile score  but also to other parameters while shortlisting candidates for Common Admission Process (CAP) comprising WAT & PI and to be coordinated by IIM Kashipur for admission 2016-18 batch.

IIM Rohtak is expected to have a batch size of 160 students for its PGP batch 2016-18 and it is expected that around 1500 candidates will be shortlisted by IIM Rohtak for the CAP round. It will be the 7th PGP batch at IIM Rohtak and is proposed to commence in July 2016

The minimum qualifying CAT 2015 percentile score to get shortlisted by IIM Rohtak is 85. There will not be any Group Discussion round for admission to IIM Rohtak for the PGP batch 2016-18.

Admission policy of IIM Rohtak also proposes to increase the academic and gender diversity in its class rooms. The shortlisting criteria at IIM Rohtak will take into consideration the candidate’s performance in CAT 2015, academic record, gender diversity and relevant work experience.

The criteria that would be used at the first stage of shortlisting at IIM Rohtak to select candidates for Personal Interview and Written Analysis Test (PI & WAT) would be as under.

Shortlisting Criteria: 600 point weightage
IIM Rohtak will use CAT 2015 percentile for short listing candidates for Personal appearance which will have the components of Personal Interview (PI) & Written Aability Test (WAT). There will be a total weightage of 600 points to be awarded to different components in shortlisting the candidates for PI round.

CAT 2015 scores
