AICTE is going to declare CMAT 2016 result tomorrow on January 21, 2016 and on the same day will allow the candidates to download their score card
CMAT 2016 score will offer good opportunity for admissions in AICTE approved PGDM B Schools and state universities in 2016.

Moving fast to compensate the lost time, AICTE is going to declare CMAT 2016 result tomorrow on January 21, 2016 and on the same day will allow the candidates to download their score card. According to AICTE, at present there are 415 B-schools who will accept CMAT 2016 scores for PGDM/MBA 2016 admission. The CMAT 2016 test was held only 5 days back on January 17, 2016 in a single session of 3 hours from 9.30AM to 12.30PM in 62 cities across the country.

It is for the first time that AICTE would be able to declare the CMAT result in 5 days from the date of the exam. Earlier it used to take about a month for AICTE to declare the CMAT result.

Although number of test takers stands reduced as compared to last year, still CMAT 2016 in its revamped form commands the position of largest national level MBA/PGDM entrance exam after CAT 2015 which had 2.18 lakh registrations and 1.80 lakh actual test takers.

Good opportunity for 60-70 percentilers in CAT 2015
CMAT 2016 serves as a good chance for the MBA aspirants who couldn’t fare so well in CAT 2015 and XAT 2016 to improve their score and find a good management institute. The CMAT 2016 score will offer good opportunity for admissions in AICTE approved PGDM B Schools and state universities in 2016.

Since CMAT 2016 was the last All India most prominent management entrance test for admission 2016, the test scores will offer good opportunity of exploring admission possibilities in various B-schools across the country.

Common Management Admission Test or CMAT is conducted by AICTE to facilitate the management education aspirants to grab the opportunity of getting admission to a B school of their choice.  Management institutes affiliated to Universities in thirteen states of Chhatisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland,  Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and other private B schools approved by AICTE will accept the CMAT 2016 scores.

No worry on Sectional cut offs
Unlike CAT 2015, CMAT 2016 would not consider any sectional cut offs nor the B-schools going to accept CMAT 2016 score will place any sectional cut off constraint while shortlisting the candidates on the basis of CMAT 2016 scores. The overall score in CMAT 2016 would be the major shortlisting criteria at the B-schools.

Result on January 21
AICTE has shared ‘CMAT 2016 results are expected to be declared on 21st January, 2016 on the website www.aicte-cmat.in’.
