Admission 2016: Opportunity widens in JBIMS
JBIMS, Mumbai has attained the status of autonomous B-school of University of Mumbai with effect from academic session 2015-16. In admission process to its flagship MMS 2015-17 batch, JBIMS did not participate in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE Maharashtra but convened its own GD-PI round. The B-school also announced in 2015 that it would accept only CAT and MAH-CET scores.

However, deviating from its earlier stand, for admission 2016 JBIMS has preferred to join back the CAP 2016 to be conducted by DTE Maharashtra sometime in May 2016. Since the candidates can register and apply to participate in CAP 2016 on the basis of  their scores obtained in CAT 2015; XAT 2016; CMAT 2016; MAT 2015-16; ATMA 2015-16; GMAT or MAH-CET 2016, the JBIMS aspirants may hope to get admission in this top rated B-school with their high scores in any of the above exams.

Prof. Balkrishna Parab, the Placement Co-ordinator at JBIMS, says “As we were able to select the best talent through a rigorous and competitive selection procedure, it has helped students outperform their peer group across corporate competitions and summer internships. Our legacy recruiters and first time recruiters together have helped us touch milestones and build a strong affiliation with the industry.”
