By bringing 100+ leading Asian B-Schools together at AMC 2015, we have started a unstoppable movement for reshaping Asian management education landscape."

Purpose of Asian Management Conclave
The unprecedented economic activity in Asia is translating into great opportunity for Asian academic and businesses institutions, as Asia needs skilled workforce, managers and leaders at all levels. Indeed, this Asian Century offers unprecedented opportunity for B-schools – to grow rapidly by serving their local & regional markets, and to also make a global impact.

As they grow to become well established national institutions, B-schools in Asia have an opportunity to have a global reach and impact. It’s not just the Harvards and INSEADs but hundreds of US and European B-schools that have international reach and visibility. A few top Chinese B-schools like CEIBS are already operating campuses and offices in US and Europe. In the next decade, one can see more progress from Asia on this front. After all, Asian B-schools are closest to the booming Asian markets where tremendous innovation is currently underway. In many cases, given the unique Asian context, domestic companies and MNCs are innovating their business models and creating new models and practices that serve the local markets effectively. In addition, many of these ‘Reverse Innovations’ can have global applicability as companies like GEs and UBERs are finding out. B-schools in Asia can research and document these ‘next-practices’ and share with the world, thus creating a global impact.

Question is, are Top 500 Asian B-schools ready to seize their moment? Time has come for Asian B-schools to come together and inject new energy in global management education by researching and delivering new management ideas from Asia, and also by developing new models in management education.

To galvanize efforts in this direction, Asian Management Conclave (AMC), a Singapore-based annual Pan-Asia conference, is conceptualized by MBAUniverse.com, a think-tank & community on management education in Asia. The core purpose of AMC is to help Top 500 Asian B-schools to excel locally and compete globally.
